Parking, well, car parks are set out all the way round the NEC and are all numbered so as long as you can remember the number you are in there will be no problems. There are buses from all car parks to the main doors - very handy for us lazy people. You will always have to pay for car parking extra to your ticket - I think it's about £4??? I think that the NEC is placed in a very convenient place, no miles of roads to trail round before you find it. It's signposted from the motorway and is just off it so no chance of getting lost. I would definately recommend the NEC for any show or concert and it's got the added bonus of being inside so if it rains, which it normally does in England, you won't get wet. ...I would warn anybody, do not to buy this phone! Do not let her take you with her lustrous pearl finish, do not be deceived by her buttons that glow blue in the night. For down to Sheol she will take all who cross her path! This phone may look the biz but when it comes to functionality, I owned the Sony J5e before this, NEC just hashed together an untested pile of garbage. Sentence Case (Abc) : This is a nifty feature of the N343i so gets it's own category. No matter how hard you try, try you might, when adding a word to the dictionary this phone insists on spelling all words with a capital slap bang at the start. This is all well & above board if we are spelling a place, person or thing, I.e. A noun. Care to remember your primary school English lessons anyone? ...this is an event for people who like to modify their cars with large alloy wheels, big stereos, bodkiys and bright paint jobs. It is on at the NEC during July and is full of hot hatches and plenty of page 3 models like Jordan. It is smaller than the other motor show using only 1 hall and a track outside where cars race around and do wheelspins and handbrake turns. Its just as noisy inside with huge speakers pumping out loud bass constantly. It is expensive of £15 for a ticket and another £3 if you want to see the wheelspins outside and then there's the usual NEC ripp off for refreshments.... Read review

...The phone was bought in a One2One prepay package for £49.99. It's reasonably small and light, seems to last about three days before needing a charge (which takes about an hour and a half) and gets good reception. The package was chosen as an emergency /incoming phone and the prepay voucher system was ideal for this - no expiry and reasonable call charges. A £10 voucher included with the phone added to the overall value. No case with the handset, just a charger, but you can pick those up anywhere - its a popular phone. No other frills - no programmable tones or garish add-on covers, but one nice feature which I specified at time of purchase was the facility to lock the keypad. My wife & son use mobiles which sometimes dial out when the keys are pressed by mistake inside a bag or pocket. Menu system isnt as easy as some other phones... Read review

...I was unlucky enough to win a Liyama Pro Lite E2200WS on a competition site, with a RRP of £220 and threw away my old monitor confident that my new one would be head and shoulders in terms of performance. Anoyone who has read that review will now that I thought it was poor to say the least with a wide range of expletives used to describe it. Needless to say it got wanged on Ebay and was sold thankfully for £135 much to my amazement. That left me with £135 to purchase a replacement and this came in the form of the NEC MultiSync LCD175VXM+ for £130 in a stylish silver finish. For £130 you get a 17-inch LCD monitor with digital TN+ film TFT display, slightly smaller than my Liyama but in terms of colour and resolution it beats the pants of it destroying the myth you get what you pay for. ...I bought this phone just before Christmas on an all-in-one package. I didn't bother insuring it and was therefore concerned when last month it simply gave up the ghost. The Link was typically unhelpful and so I resorted to contacting NEC direct. In spite of the fact that I had no insurance they sent a courier the same day to collect the phone from my office. Two days later they called to say that they couldn't mend it and would therefore give me a new one. This they biked to me the same day. Slightly worrying that the phone gave up on me after such a short space of time but full marks to NEC for their customer service.... Read review

...For its price, an excellent quality monitor. If you are a graphics designer looking for colour calibrated monitors then go elsewhere, but as an IT Administrator I have two of these on my desk that I use for 9 hours a day. No eye strain, colour balance is good, image quality is superb. In our office we have over 30 of these and not one has developed a fault, dead pixel or any other problems. The image is consistent from one monitor to another as well (suprisingly uncommon on LCD monitors!) It could be a little brighter - I have a Dell monitor next to my NECs and its *slightly* brighter - but you only notice this because they're next to each other. All in, you won't regret spending the money. Decent resolution, decent size at a decent price.... Read review

...I ordered an NEC PC over the Internet at which time they also took full payment. I have now been waiting over a month with still no delivery in sight. I have been given numerous "anticipated delivery dates" and wasted many days waiing in for delivery. All the staff I have spoke to are very defensive and some are just downright rude. The advertisement promised NEC to be the first to offer DVD-R but by the time I recieve my PC I'm sure everyone will be selling them and at no doubt at a lower price. Maybe this company likes to sit on peoples money, wait till the prces drop and then supply what has been ordered and keep the interest earnt. Or am I just being cynical. Excuses have varied from delays in 3rd party supplies to failed testing. They just don't seem to care but tell you anything to get you off the phone. I'm surprised a company... Read review

...The Nec N343i has earned me a few compliments and questions about what it is and where its from. Unlike the equally slim and more expensive rivals, the Nec N343i is still relatively rare in the mobile world - I haven't seen another person with one yet. Less than a 5 pence piece in thickness, the Nec also benefits from a lightweight design, flashed up with a real metal backplate. This is all well and good if you want the phone to show off, partly the reason I bought it, however as a tool for communication it is awful. The Nec suffers from a serious lack of volume. With a speaker at the back it is essential that you place the nec on its front if you are to hear anything (and I mean anything - cover the speaker up with your thumb and you get nothing). Even with this careful placement I struggle to catch phone calls if I leave... Read review
