...I was a big fan of the 'Need for Speed : Underground' games, back when all you had to do was get to the starting point and then race. There was no story and there was no running away from the cops every five minutes. After 'Need for Speed : Underground 2' I stopped playing these games. because it moved away from the original idea of the game and because the far better 'Juiced' was on the market. Need for speed: Undercove. No need for speed in buying this game!

Advantages: Good story line. Good use of the wii controller. Great sound effects and audio.
Disadvantages: Poor graphics that tend to spoil the game!

...giving much time for you to engage in combat. This does affect game play and saddly not for the good. I do like the fact that the story unfolds through live action sequences, probably the best part of the game! unfortunately. I find the graphics are far better in this live action film than when the games is in full flow. But i will give credit when due. This game has some brilliant sound effects, the soundtrack is suitable, the controls are good and easy to use and the storyline is actually interesting and keeps you going! Unfortunately in comparison to others of its genre Need for Speed: Undercover (wii) is not the best around. I would have to give it a 5.5 out of 10. It has bags of potentiall and i have been told that its far better on a different console such as the PS3 and Xbox....

As soon as I turned on this game I could tell that EA had gone back to there old ways and made this version of need for speed just like most wanted and carbon, This is avery good thing because that I thought that Prostreet was a major let down. There is a large choice of cars you can buy and modify but the two things that let the game down the most is the graphics and the way the cars look when your driving them, they skid around very un-realistically making the game seem a bit childish. Also, another bad point about the game is the choice of views you get for the cars during game play - on most modern car games such as Test drive unlimited and Midnight Club LA for example, there is a realistic cockpit view making the game more enjoyable to play as it means you can sort of get a sense of driving a nice super car! NFS: undercover is lots of fun and pretty addictive.

Advantages: Fun and working control scheme, large range of customizable cars, largest free-roaming world yet.
Disadvantages: Graphics for helicopters are appallingly bad, can some times take a LONG time to escape police.

...Before I start pointing out the good and the bad, I would just like to say that I only had this game for a week and in that time made it 57% of the way through the story mode. Besides the story mode, it also has a challenge mode which I will cover later in the review. ************** GENERAL: NFS: undercover for the Wii has a couple of control schemes which can be used. The best of which (in my opinion) is simply the Wii-mote, unless of course you have the Wii-Wheel. ...I have had every Need For Speed game since the franchise started. However I debated for ages as to whether this was worth my money as it did get some bad reviews. The story is a step back into the street racing after Pro Street. The street setting is much better but it is also not as "boyracery" as it was in games such as Most Wanted and Underground. The storyline involves you as an undercover policeman trying to infiltrate street race gangs who are suspected in stealing cars, drug dealing etc. You then have to take down these gangs and essentially clear the streets of them. Through races, police pursuits and the new feature highway battles to boost your wheelman reputation. The storyline is good but not really a major part. Essentially you just race as per usual with a bit of a back story for some races and some races that you have...

Advantages: Brilliant racing, great customization, good storyline

...I bought this game on the day of it's release for the full price so i was expecting high standards as a long time fan of all need for speed games. What the game is about? You play a undercover police officer and race and make a reputation for yourself so you get noticed by the criminal underground racers that are part of a huge crime syndicate that smuggle and steal cars and it is your job to take them down.
