Now thats Need for Speed Underground to you, and it was indeed the best selling game of 2003. Alrite, here comes 2004 with EA realeasing a sequel to the first NFS Underground. Here's my review for Need For Speed Underground 2. Gameplay: Lets start off with the gameplay first. First of all, the normal race modes from the first game are all here. I Need To Go Underground 2!!!

Advantages: Very good graphics and some nice cars and mods.
Disadvantages: Music/sound not great, only 30 cars and only room for 5 cras in garage.

Need 4 Speed Underground: Review

Advantages: The story of an illegal race driver. From begining to the end.
Disadvantages: Car damage lack and high system requirements.

...You would think that with only a year since the release of Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 that this would merely be another update with some more cars and new tracks. This couldn't be further from the truth. Need For Speed Underground is a total reworking of the game with all new graphics, game modes and cars. Gone are the normal street based cars and cops chasing you down as the developers of this game have opted for souped up cars as seen in movies like The Fast and the Furious and 2 Fast 2 Furious. In fact, much of the game has taken inspiration from those two movies. The variety of game modes is certain to keep you entertained for some time. I feel the Need 4 Speed Underground

Advantages: Lush graphics, excellent tunes, massive in single player mode
Disadvantages: No car damage, upgrades can take ages to become available, some races can be samey, the other traffic

...Over the past few years games based around illegal street racing have been coming on the market. I'm not totally sure whether the reason for this is the fact that people find them more fun to play (it's true! We get to be naughty AND get away with it) or whether it's some subversive attempt by the police to get us screaming down the roads and straight into speed cameras. Anyway, I'm digressing. Need 4 Speed Underground is based on the illegal street racing scene (as all the other NFS games have been), but you'd be forgiven for playing this and thinking you'd just bought the game of The Fast And The Furious. You can tell that it's been at least half way inspired by the movie and it's sequel. The basic story is you're an illegal street racer and you have to work your way up through the ranks by doing 'missions' in the form of races...

No need for speed in this underground!!!

Advantages: Nice graphics, great music.
Disadvantages: poor gameplay, no damage, boring and bad mods.

The graphics are pretty good as its a year old, nice reflects from lights, cars, water and other stuff. Advantages: Mass variety of cars, races and modifications.
Disadvantages: Playing for long (and i mean long) periods of time can become a little repetative.

...Where can i start? NFSU2 in my opinion is one of the best racing games i have ever played! It uses so many features that other racing games dont. I was pretty impressed when i foudn that you have to drive around to find races, or you can play the normal career game as a free run, as it is up to you when you want to enter races. Talking of races, NFSU2 has a great variety of races, these include, circuits, drifting, street X, sprints and drag races! By using these differnt types of races, it means that if you dont like a certain race, you can leave it till last as ther are plenty of others to be getting on with. It also makes the game less repetative and more easy going. Moving onto the cars themselves, NFSU2 offers a huge variety of cars.
