...I fitted out my kitchen in 2006 and furnished it completed with Neff appliances. I solicited some reviews from my colleagues about 2nd level appliance manufacturers and Neff came out as one. 1st level in my opinion - bosch, whirlpool, hotpoint, zanussi 2nd level - neff, smeg 3rd level - miele, fischer/paykel Having never heard of Neff before I duly ordered the integrated appliance brochures and was amazed at the style, functionality and practicality of their products. I selected this hood because I have a small space and the theme was silver, contemporary . It is very stylish and has 2 halogen lights, more than sufficient for the space it covers. Also the grill is dishwasher safe, so I put that in my Neff dishwasher! It has easy to select controls. as for noise, i feel it is a bit noisy but did not have the opportunity to...

Neff is the real chef in our house ... Neff built in oven U1442

Advantages: Lots of different functions available
Disadvantages: Difficult to clean in the hard to reach areas

Our previous kitchen was very basic but we'd saved quite a few penny's so spent a lot of time researching on what gadgets we could have to make our kitchen truly amazing. Our previous oven was a double free gas standing oven which was well past its sell by date! so we opted to buy a built in electric double oven. ~Cost: In total our oven cost £779 which was pretty expensive compared to some of the similar models but we did quite a lot of research and was very pleased with the reviews on this and other Neff models. Nikon D90 - My Next 'Last' Camera

Advantages: Movies, LiveView, 12.3 mpixels, build quality, excellent lens range

Review of Nikon D90

My experience of the Nikon D90 as an amateur photographer.

Advantages: Excellent picture quality, lots of useful features, well designed controls, great kit lens
Disadvantages: More expensive than some other DSLRs, quite big and heavy, limited movie mode

... How I made my choice I recently bought the D90 to upgrade from my Olympus 560UZ bridge camera, so this is my first foray into DSLR photography. Most people starting in DSLR photography will opt for the cheaper D40, or the D60, D70 and D80. I am not particularly rich, and in the end chose the D90 because I didn't want to grow out of the smaller DSLR and have to buy a new body quickly. I have found that the prices of Nikon DSLRs haven't decreased significantly over the last 3 years, so I decided (maybe wrongly) that this option would save me money in the long run. I found that it is very important to go into a shop and hold the camera in your hands before making a choice. All the photography shop assistants said that the Canon series was just as good as the Nikons, but I discounted them because I didn't get on with the feel...

Review of Nikon D90

...What a find! There aren't many really large integrated fridges on the market but extensive research kept bringing this one up as the best and my experience so far confirms my research. It doesn't fail on the main reason for buying it - space. It has excellent capacity with superb door storage. The vegetable drawers are large and keep everything amazingly fresh. The split shelf is an ingenious idea and the tube holder (for garlic puree/tomato puree etc.) a nice extra touch. There are 2 egg holders for 6 eggs each but because the door shelves/storage are curved you wont fit both on one shelf. (Not really a problem though as ample room for everything anyway) Its extremely quiet,well made and with the Neff reputation for quality, its perfect. Although quite expensive its well worth the money. I've put this review on to save you going insane...

Neff microwave oven combi

Advantages: Very flexible usage; looks good
Disadvantages: Wattage doesn't match standard microwave meals

...We purchased this to supplement a Neff single oven so that we could grill at the same time as cooking in the oven. This was a constant source of frustration with our old single oven. This combination microwave has been a revelation - it has 5 microwave wattage settings varying from 90 up to 1000 watts. The only downside being that if you are doing microwave meals they are typically cooked at around 800 watts - most counter top microwaves are around this wattage. The closest this microwave gets to the 800 watt mark is 650. The highest wattage of 1000 is only suitable for heating up liquids and not food. Having said that, the flexibility that this machine offers is amazing - it operates as an oven and a grill in its own right. However, where it comes into its own is the ability to combine microwave cooking with the oven facility...

I was impressed with the dealer (Dick Lovett), as the sales guy was not at all pushy but allowed me to take my time looking over the car and responded well to questions I raised. Review of BMW 320d

eos 450d

Advantages: excellent picture quality. clear lcd screen. simple menu

...Canon have released an excellent performing camera. This camera is nearly as good as the more expensive eos 40D. The menu is incredibly easy to use even for a novice like me. The 3 inch lcd screen is very clear and simple to understand. The 12 million pixels creates beautiful pictures and gives you massive scope for enlarging and cropping and still create excellent clarity pictures after zooming in on PC. The ability to take raw pictures boosts massively the potential to create imaginative pictures using software such as adobe photo shop. I used to use a canon powershot but am very pleased to have swapped to this versatile camera. Prices for this camera are still dropping and I consider this far better value than new eos 1000D....
