After shopping around I decided to buy the Vax Rapide Deluxe model for £94 + VAT and delivery from www.goshopdirect.co.uk, this included paying an extra £7 for next day delivery, I believe their normal delivery time is around 7-10 days. I was very impressed with the service from goshopdirect and the hoover arrived via courier on the given delivery date. After researching a few different carpet cleaners I chose the Rapide Deluxe because it has a twin motor setup, compared to cheaper models...

...I bought A Vax Rapide Cleaner In December last year! I paid £160 for it, And also bought a pack of 3 bottles of the conditioner for around £15.. I bought this cleaner as I have a light coloured carpet and I can't stand to see dirty marks on it. Once I unpacked the Vax it was quite easy to put together.. Now for the cleaning test...Filled the tank up with water and conditioner and away we go. At first I didnt see any change to be honest, Just that the carpet was just a slightly darker, Well it would be, it was wet after all. I had a few stains in mind, And moved straight to the slight tea stain by the sofa....And yes after going over the stain 15 or so times it did fade away! ...I bought the lindam rapid steam steriliser as it was cheap £26 and looked good, It does a 6 minute cycle and claims to be the fastest steam steriliser on the market at the minute, it is also very spacious with out being huge and looks good on the kitchen side.
The steriliser can fit up to 9 standard bottles or 6 wide bottles, and is suitable for all types of bottles on the market.
When it arrived i read all the instructions and then set about
unpacking it all, included is the steriliser, a long detachable power cord, accessory tray and bottle holder tray, tongs and water measurer.
The mains cord is very long and one end plugs into the wall the other into the back of the steriliser,
The bottle tray fits nicely in to the steriliser, at the front of the tray there is a square dip due to the steriliser having a sticky out bit...

My first impression is you don't get much bang for your buck. Just 20ml in a pot, but seen as I hardly ever use the stuff then I shouldn't really complain. The application is straight forward as you get a foam pad attached to the lid that pulls out as you remove the top from the pot. The label states raid, rapid indeed. There is nothing more frustrating than watching paint dry and the same can be said for Tipp-Ex. Nothing makes making that little spelling mistake even more of a issue than having to wait for the Tipp-Ex you covered it with dry as you think over your stupidity. Rapid should be...
