Nespresso is cool
Advantages: Great tasting coffe in an flash
Disadvantages: The capsules are expensive
...Our family was kindly given a Nespresso machine for christmas, and since then we have proudly become addicts.
A well crafted, futuristically designed unit with good water capacity. The system is easy to use, apart from the steam heating system for the milk which requires two switches to be operated one after the other instead of just pressing one button. Apart from that, the system is a doddle to operate.
Simply fill up the jug, then take one of the capsules (there are loads of different flavours you can order online), lift the lid with the cool lever at the fromt and the machine opens its "mouth" for you. Pop in the capsule upsidedown (each capsule looks like a milk-carton you get on trains, etc) and close the lid. This pierces the capsule. Next, you pull the top lever forward and the water courses through the capsule, gurgling...

Central Perk at home
Advantages: Great coffee every time, easy to clean up
Disadvantages: Pricey
...-consciously exclusive.
I chose the Magimix M100 as it was a good brand and had the best deal going. There is very little difference in the design of the Magimix or Krups as far as I could see. For £99 (from Amazon - now £127) I got the machine, a selection box of the 12 coffees and the Aeroccino - a sort of kettle for milk that heats and froths the milk. There was also a further incentive of £30 cashback from Nespresso on buying the machine so for £69 I felt I was getting a good deal.
The M100 is very compact and takes up less counter space than most machines. Mine is a steel grey with shiny chrome and black fittings but its available in colours from powder blue to a distinctive orange. It has a detachable water container at the bag and the drip tray and coffee collector slip out easily for cleaning. Essentially the system relies on a sealed mini...

Latte pelican make your coffee
Advantages: Simple to use, perfect results
Disadvantages: Expensive, pods only available from nespresso
...My most preferred drink is a latte, but it has to be prepared and presented correctly to make it so. It has to be just the correct temperature; layered with steamed milk, coffee and topped with frothed milk. This is not so easy to achieve. Over the years, I have used different machines in my quest to make my own but have never been really satisfied. Until now, that is!!!
As a surprise present (and it was a complete surprise ? I never suspected a thing) from my family, I received the Nespresso Magimix M200. The great advantages of the machine are that it is so easy to use achieving perfect results with relative ease and it looks very stylish in an unusual sort of way.
The machine operates on the Nespresso Pod System. There are nine coffee blends, ?with a richness, subtlety of aromas and smoothness of crema to delight even the most...

siemens tk 70 nespresso coffee machine
Advantages: sleek design german build quality
Disadvantages: hot plate a bit small and coffee outlet cannot be adjusted
...This is a lovely coffee machine, I bought to replace an older nespresso machine I had.
The nespresso system uses capsules of ground coffee so this gives an excellent quality every time, There are twelve different blends to choose from and often a few special varieties. Christmas last year they had chocolate orange scented coffee. The nespresso system may be fairly expensive compared to bean to cup but you don't get the bitterness and its consistantly good
The build quality is excellent, and the steam charges up very quickly. It has an ingenious milk frothing attachment, witch can be altered to give latte or cappaccino.
The coffee capsule when inserted glides into the machine and fresh hot coffee pours from the nozzle.
For the amount of functions this machine is very compact and looks very good with the amber backlight...

Magimix Nespresso M150 coffee machine
Advantages: perfect cup everytime packed full of features for a low cost machine
Disadvantages: a little complicated to use to start with
...I have an earlier nespresso machine and have been very impressed with the coffee, so I bought my dad one for his birthday.
I knew I wanted a reasonably priced machine which one I wasn`t sure which one.
I went into my local house of fraser and found the Magimix M150 in the sale for £77 Bargain!
The machine is basic looking, but very functional and simple to use. It heats up very quickly, and has a cup heater also can froth milk and produce hot water. Great for americano`s and cappuccino`s!
The pod holder can be a little bit tricky to use to start with after a while it becomes second nature
The pods are bought on the net from nespresso`s website you need to try a few to find your favourite, they cost about 23p each compare that to a coffee from starbucks its not bad value.
Tip- Always use filtered water to prolong...

Crema versus Crema
Advantages: Brill flavour, easy to use, perfect consistent results every time
Disadvantages: None
....
One thing that makes this machine special is the Nespresso coffee pods this machine and other Nespresso machines use. They are hermetically sealed foil pods, so the coffee cannot go stale, there is no freezing of beans or trying desparately to keep coffee fresh once opened. The pods are available online which might put some people off, however, at just 23p per cup and small delivery charge, I think this is a fab way of purchasing coffee. It comes through the post a few days later, and saves the hassle of shopping and forgetting to buy coffee.
The machine is dead easy to use. You switch on, open the jaw and pop in the pod, close the jaw and place the cup underneath and pull the lever forward. The rich aroma fills the air, and the luscious dark liquid pours from a little spout. Spent pods are shot down a little shoot into a little bin...

A great coffee whenever you want it.
Advantages: Neat, clean, very easy to use and produces a great expresso or cappuccino.
Disadvantages: Uses nespresso capsules only.
...and pull forward the lever to fill the cup.
Should you want hot milk, you flick another switch, place the frother nozzle into your milk and push the lever back until it is hot enough. Taking all of a couple of minutes at the most.
You get approx 40 capsules when you buy the machine - in a variety of blends. (The demonstrator ensured I had the full range to try, giving me 50 capsules). When you need more you can either post off an order form or shop online and join the Nespresso Club. Your order is delivered to your door within 3 days. Each capsule costs 21p - not bad compared to what you pay on the high street these days.
Not only is the machine very neat and stylish, you can get a number of accessories to make it even more impressive to your dinner guests, not to mention the two expresso cups and saucers that come with it...

Magimix Nesspresso Easy to Use Great coffee and compact
Advantages: Quick delicious tasting coffee
Disadvantages: possibly more expensive way to enjoy coffee but well worth it!
...We have had our Nespresso for 2 months now and we think it is GREAT!
The coffee from the capsuels smells delightful, ideal for the pick me up in the morning.
The selection of coffees are vast; perfect for those who like the stronger more intense esspresso and ideal for others who enjoy a more mild longer coffee to linger over.
The machine itself is compact and tidy and comes in a variety of colours.
It isn't bulky or obtrusive in any way.
It is very easy to clean and the tray and dipenser comes out in quick swift movement with no mess.
The spout doesn't drip either.
It warms up in less that a minute and the coffee is poured in less than 30 seconds from pressing the required amout ie esspresso or lungo .
Coffee selections are great. Strong rich flavours, decaffinated, or mellow delicate coffees.
The only downside (an...

Excellent, compact, easy to maintain coffee maker
Advantages: Great Coffee made quickly and efficiently with little mess
Disadvantages: Jug for holding water could be bigger, Bit Noisy
...IN THE BOX
1 x Nespresso Magimix M100 in Coral Red
1 x Assortment of coffee pods (1 of each brand = 12 in total)
1 x Nespresso Manual in a neat binder
FIRST REACTION
The whole product is nicely packaged, you can tell this is no cheap coffee making machine. The machine looks very nice, very smooth with rounded edges and the red is very nice. The size is smaller than I thought which is great for me as I have small kitchen.
SETTING UP
After putting the machine together (which is simply putting the tray in the machine and the water jug on the back and plugging it in) it did take me a while to work out why the cup light on the machine was constantly flashing which meant it was warming up.
The instructions are on a large piece of matt paper with a diagram/flowchart of what to do. This was ok as far as instructions go but...
