A roaring good bar!

Advantages: Great from the fridge
Disadvantages: I just wish it was Cadbury's chocolate!

...Nestle are a market leader when it comes to making chocolate bars, but is it always the best chocolate? I don't think so! I purchased my Lion Bar in a pack of four from Poundland, they cost...wait for it.....£1!!! This was much cheaper than buying bars individually from newsagents with prices upwards of 50p for an individual bar. The lion bar has minimal packaging which is better for the environment and the packaging is very eye catching. The bars are a good size, but as with all sweets, it feels smaller than I remember it as a child! They leave you rather satisfied and not searching for a second bar straight away. They can be difficult to bite into though as they are quite high! (unlike the kit kat or twix!!!) I have found that the best way to eat a Lion Bar is by leaving it in the fridge. When you do this it makes the chocolate go...

A BERRY NICE BAR OF NESTLE

Advantages: IT'S CHOCOLATE
Disadvantages: CAN BE SICKLY

...Hmm .... bright, attractive, sweet and er .. dare I say ... satisfying. Am I describing myself here? Unfortunately not! Heaven just sent me down a new chocolate bar to try out, on the strict condition of course, that I pass on my findings to all the good folks in Ciao-land! Actually, the truth is this. I was in the newsagents today, when my eyes clocked the words "managers special offer" with a tier of various chocolate bars below - temptation offered, I snatched it with both hands and left the shop triumphant, after pocketing two bars of Nestle Chocolate (and of course paying for it!). One bar being Nestle Double Chocolate and the other, which I am going to tell you about is Nestle Double Berry. I could stand for ages in the newsagents - just looking at the various bars on display turns on the taste buds and I wouldn't say...

...White Crunch Bar from Nestle Feeling Fed up and totally huge with this never ending pregnancy I made sure my boyfriend cheered me up by bringing me home a whole bag full of goodies from the local store on his way home from work. Him wanting to make me feel as good as possible must have got the best selection of chocolate bars, mints and crisps I ever did see! Included amongst this overflowing bag was a treasure to behold and one I have not had for a very long while ? Nestle White Crunch bar. I used to eat these bars two at a time when I was younger and literally could not get enough of them. There is nothing quite like them out on the market and I am afraid Nestle really do have the upper hand when it comes to selling this particular chocolate bar. They usually cost around 45 pence, which is nowadays standard price...

It's not an animal its a chocolate bar

Advantages: Tasty
Disadvantages: lots of calories

...Today I was very naughty and broke my diet regime, but having been to the gym this morning and driving about in my car untill about 15 mins ago. I missed breakfast and dinner so was really peckish when I went into Woolworths for a nosey around. Much to my downfall they are doing four chocolate products for one pound and I couldn't resist. I bought, 1 lion bar, 1 Aero, 1 Yorkie and 1 Toffee crisp, so after just eating the lion bar. I thought I'd write about what I think and probably will write about the other bars too later on. I think a lion bar cost around 35p but like I said these were on offer and I fell for the temptation. Lion bar is made by Nestle and comes in a brown wrapper which has a picture of a lion on the front, it says approach with caution on the back of the wrapper which is I suppose is true if your on a diet...

My Turn To Be The MilkyBar Kid

Advantages: Cheap, great for smaller kids

...Well as I am a chocoholic, I thought it about time I wrote about the stuff a bit more, rather than just eat it LOL. But the question is which do I write about this time as there are so many to choose from. But after thinking long and hard and going through my choccy draw in the fridge (yes the choccy in my house has its own special place). I decided to write about NESTLE MILKYBAR. Why this? Well this was one of the first bars of choccy that I was given as a child, so I think I have the experience and knowledge regarding it LOL... One thing I have noticed with this bar is how much smaller it has got over the years, or is it I have just got bigger so it looks smaller? If You Like MilkyBar , You'll Love These!

Advantages: Tasty , Creamy , Good Value For Money
Disadvantages: Some may find too sickly

...I recently tried these milkybar deserts and fell in love with them instantly. The reason for me buying these pots were because they were on offer ; buy one get one free , which meant I had 4 pots (2 packs) for £1.09 from my local Spar. What a bargain I thought. I was meant to be on a diet and you know how you are when your on a diet , constantly thinking "can't have this , can't have that" and then you end up craving something your not " supposed" to eat , and that is what happened to me! The MilkyBar deserts are made by Nestle who make the white chocolate bar 'milkybar'. These deserts are only sold in certain countries such as the Uk , Spain , India and Ireland to name a few. Because I bought mine when it was on a buy one get one free offer , I didn't know how much they usually cost , but I looked on a few supermarket websites...

Good things come in small packages...

...I've just recently discovered the Nestle Caramac bar which reminded me of the Milky bars by the same company, and as a result I've decided to try one of them for the first time in donkey years. The Milky bar currently retails in several sizes, though the smallest one doesn't have a weight on it retails for around 17p (at a quick estimate it's about 8g, so tiny), I cleverly bought 3 of them as I know I used to love them. Coming in a white and red packet with the Milky Bar kid on the wrapper in his cowboy gear looking like the sort of icon no chocolate bar should really have. Nestle must have been thinking something like: ?Who could we link to milk?? ?A Cowboy!? ?yeah...they milk cows...and boys will eat the bar, genius!? Better than using Daisy the cow I guess. On the whole despite usually enjoying Nestle bars I've not really been...

The Milkybars were on me... until I ate them all

Milky Bars are on ME!

Only recently have Cadburys brought out their "Dream" white chocolate bar, and in my opinion the Dream no where matches the superior taste of the true Milky bar. Advantages: Tasty cereal bar with chocolate and low in fat

...they are wrapped fit into a handbag or lunch box easily. There are 2 flavours, Apricot and Green Tea or Red Berry. They were launched in May 2004, but so far, I have only seen the red Berry. What does the box look like? Bright blue box, with Sveltesse and Nestle logo in red, with a picture of a girl leaping into the air and ?liberate your belly button?, plus a picture of the actual bar with pieces of chocolate and a raspberry and Strawberry.. It measures 15 x 12.5 x 4.5 cm and also states in 3 ticked circles that it is under 100 cals per bar, a source of fibre and dipped in chocolate. On the side of the box, it simply says cereal and fruity pieces dipped in a blend of milk and dark chocolate.
