Lacking a typical Dutch cuisine, Holland is full of international restaurants. But it does have some things going for it: Dutch chips are legendary, and in some parts of the country you can even find gourmet restaurants. On safari in deepest, darkest Holland

Advantages: Great range of well cared for animals
Disadvantages: No hippos, everythings in Dutch

From the authors of other Cheeky Guides (such as Brighton and Oxford) this book will take you through the world of student life and is an essential for any future student, present student, past student, or anyone brave enough to investigate university life. I Didn't Want to Leave Lovely Holland House

Advantages: Comfortable, clean, not far from station or city centre. Very high standard of rooms.
Disadvantages: Poor TV reception, terrible tea at breakfast!

Again staff on reception seemed very professional and well organised, and I checked out quickly. Prices I booked through Superbreak, at a cost of £75 for bed and breakfast. Prices on the hotel's own website are significantly higher, but some special deals are available. Perhaps I could have got a cheaper price if I'd had any flexibility on dates, but I was in Bristol for a specific event so could not take advantage of any other offers. Conclusions I really enjoyed my stay at Holland House. Standards of comfort and cleanliness were excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. Although the price was higher than I would usually pay, we all need a taste of luxury now and then...

...If you enjoy exploring natural or homeopathic remedies, how they work and what they contain then Holland and Barrett is the place for you. I often pay them a visit, the sales assistants are pretty genned up on the stores products and more often than not if you give them some background information then one of the staff will be able to point you in the right direction. I will be the first to agree with anyone who says that natural healing doesn`t come cheap but it far outweighs having to take prescribed medicine if it is something that you can easily and safely treat yourself. Naturally if there are any concerns at all then you should always visit your own GP. Our problem is that the Other Half is very fair skinned and every year without fail as soon as the British summer sun starts to shine he develops patches of pink scaly skin...
