...I love this idea, whoever thought this up is a genius. A lot of families have storage problems my main pain in the backside is lack of room for excess bedding that i keep spare for guests and what not, So this is magnificent, how the air can be sucked out of the bag with any pipe vacuum cleaner and reduce the size of package to less than a quarter of the size. Brilliant for duvets and pillows i might add and to top it all off it keeps all those bugs away and when you do unpack them they smell as good as the day you washed them and put the items in there. ...Microsoft and their proprietary products are poor performance,and too expensive.This adapter detects the same network my pc adapter detects but only 1 bar of signal.My pc adapter has 5 bars on the network.The xbox adapter must not have an omni antenna and the gain is probably 1dbi.I tried to opened this crap and put a higher gain antenna but the connector is a sub micro connector specially made for microsoft to screw us.I still could have rigged a better antenna,but i accidentally lost an ic chip trying to pry this thing apart,now there goes 70 bucks,never again. Fortunately i discovered linksys sells a universal game adapter (part number WGA54G),the adpater is also pc compatible,why isnt the xbox adapter pc compatible?Anyway,the linksys has an omni antenna and yes its removable to get a better omni.The signal is 5 to 15 times...

...i bought this for £50 second hand, and i found it very easy to use and it connected to my modem in minutes, but i know not everyone connects it as easy as i did, infact i couldnt connect it to my old router when i first got an xbox 360, so then i went for the ethernet cable method which is ideal if the router is in the same room as the xbox 360 because its much cheaper, gauranteed to work and normally makes connection better, but in my case i had a 30m ethernet cable running down my stairs which is not ideal! therefore when i bought my xbox 360 back i wanted to get it sorted with the network adapter. Photos, films, music, work files and projects, games and loads of other stuff that I have no idea about tend to congregate on my hard drive like hoodies on a street corner. Like my desk, my filing system on my PC is a bit chaotic. Probably the only things that are where they should be are the actual installation files and that's only because they *have* to be there. I have no set folders for anything really, and the only way I'm able to find stuff is because I have vague ideas where everything I save everything has gone. For me it's not a problem because I know where my files are and as they're shared (in other words we can access them over the wireless network and use them on other machines around the house) I can work from wherever I happen to be. Every time my computer searched for a network it crashed. I phoned the Belkin company who took me step by step through the technical part and still we could not get internet. Advantages: Low cost, small size, low-power consumption. Very hackable for those of you who like to get more out of your toys.

I then modified my unit to run at double speed and not only serve as a network storage device but also to run a simple web server and MP3 streaming server.
