...I have had this IPod a while now, I originally had the IPod mini original one and although that was great when I got it, I started having problems with it (I had it a while). So I updated to this one and I must say I am very impressed. The IPod is small and compact so takes up no room at all, although I have to put it in the tiny pocket of my jeans because it would get lost in the normal pockets haha! The touch sensitive buttons are good, easy to use and you don't have to push down on the buttons too hard and the volume adjust is very easy but that doesn't mean it will suddenly change the volume if you move with it in your pocket, it has a very good locking button at the bottom which is easy to slide but not loose so it won't suddenly change, simply lock the IPod and it stops all the buttons from working so songs won't suddenly...

...After a bike accident in which smashed my old ipod nano 1G and after 3 days in hospital without it to listen to i bought a IPOD NANO 3G Black 8GB, it i great the sound quality is good with new headphones however the ipod earphones are not great and it has a equalizer to match the sort of music you play, and the amount to choose from is huge, the screen is incredibley bright and clear and can be adjusted and when playing video the quality was way better than my digital TV. 8GB is plenty of room for movies and music as the videos are compressed for ipod compatibility. The itunes software does not allow you to do this however free programs are available that do. ...Hello all. To cut straight to the chase, this sleak little device is a cracking piece of technology. Through my experience of using this product, I have no complaints at all. It's compact and easy to use, 8 GB is ample storage, and the sound quality is excellent. Some may say that the size makes it easier to lose, but all jokes aside, in my opinion it's the perfect size to fit right in your pocket or hand-bag. This product is also aesthetically pleasing and feels very comfortable in your hand. It comes with all the typical features you'd expect, including some quite amusing music-based games. High sound quality, plentiful memory space for music, video and podcasts, and a beautiful appearance make this product a great buy in my opinion....

...its hard to write a review of a product like the Ipod touch, because every one of you have read everything about it somewhere else. I have to say that Ipod touch is simply something I've fallen in love with and find myself addicted to. I saw it in the Apple store before Christmas and I said to myself that this would be my next purchase. After pestering my parents, I got it for Xmas and they bought one for my sister as well (she is not into electronics) - she loved it almost as much as me and I've never seen her use her old MP3 player anywhere near as much as this. It is quite like the Iphone with the touch screen and you can do that pinch and zoom thing as well which i really like. The memory of 8gb is sooo big that I can store all my pictures and music and films on it and still have enough room to browse the web - YES you can search...

Advantages: Good qaulity screen, Confortable and Easy to use

...the touch up and running at a apple store but you can only download music and not videos or podcasts at the present moment. There are new features that come with the new Ipod touches such as email, stocks and maps. I have not downloaded these features as the cost around £20 for the people who brought the ipod the first mouths it comes out and don't believe they will make much of a difference to how I would use my ipod. However, if I get good feedback from this review I will consider buying them and add another review to the 8gb Ipod Touch. Overall, the 8gb ipod touch is a good portable music and movie player. I would give it 8/10 as its good but defiantly not perfect yet. However, I would recommend it to anyone wanting to listen to music or watch movies as you can't really be disappointed with it....

I noticed that he kept borrowing my ipod nano and initially planned to get him one of his own but on the Apple website I saw the ipod touch and worked out that if I got him that then I could steal it and use it! From the Apple website, the 8GB iPod Touch cost me £199 with free postage and packing and a free optional engraving. I thought this was a reasonable price it was nice and simple to order it online. I chose the free engraving option and this enabled me to have a two line engraving on the back (top centre) of the ipod.
