"Get Born!"

Advantages: A return to good old rock'n'roll
Disadvantages: Absolutely None

Lots of New ideas, but nothing Great

Advantages: New enemies, New Power-ups and New Levels
Disadvantages: Repetitive, Familiar and much more possibilities

...When the new super mario bros. came out for the ds it was a ground breaking development it sold out in minutes and was the must have game for the Ds. unfortunately this cannot be said for the wii release. although this version has the ability of multi player on one system and a different story line it still feels very repetitive, the 4 selections of players are. Player 1 must be Mario Other players have the ability to choose from, Luigi, yellow toad and blue toad. the first few levels put you into the retro feel of Mario with the first ever level port and same old monsters attacking you, after the first 3 - 4 levels it will start to get different with new monsters, new challenges and new thumb mashing levels. other new features are 3 new power-ups, one is a snow suit where you fire snow balls that freeze enemies, another is...

I was born lippy!

Advantages: Smells great, has a nice taste to it, moisturises well, and lasts ages.
Disadvantages: None really, well apart from the fact you will want them all!

...but I opted for their Born Lippy range and went for the mango and peach flavour. I don't know why exactly I just liked the sound of it to be honest. They also do good old mint, strawberry and raspberry as well as the less expected passionberry, watermelon and satsuma flavours. I have included pictures of them all so that should you decide to go and treat yourself to one you will be able to find it more quickly and get out of there without being tempted by all the other lovelies that are bound to catch your eye. It comes in rather plain packaging, a small see through tub with a screw on lid. The lid has a round sticker on it, which is pink orange and yellow. It has the Body Shop logo on and says BORN LIPPY MANGO AND PEACH LIP BALM 10ml The base has a small white label which has on it the bar code, recyclable symbol, use within 12...

...second album, thought their music is progressing well and winning them a lot of fans. Muse are very popular with live audiences, they like to tour and worth going if they are local. I have not had the pleasure of this yet, though some of the songs off this have been played live. The singles of New Born and Plug in Baby are both here, possibly recognizable. New Born is the first track on the album, a nice work to start off the album. Builds up to a real guitar song and a great end after a long wait. Bliss is a is a great song as well, one of the best on the album for its short and sweet rock style with real strong guitars. Space Dementia is more piano based, Matt is really good on this, as on others and the result is a powerful song. Hyper Music is a really loud song, as is Plug in Baby. This was the first single to come off the album...

Yet another review on Mauritius...Quatres Bornes, the posh town!

Advantages: Nice clean place!
Disadvantages: not as popular as Port-Louis (the main capital)

...During my stay in Mauritius, a local friend of ours took us to Quatres-Bornes so I could pick up some paperwork from my travel agency. Mauritius is in fact separated into districts, and each district is made of either of towns or villages. Quatres-Bornes is found at the very centre of the island, in the district of Plaines Wilhems. It can be considered as one of the main towns in the island- even if it cannot be compared to the City of Port-Louis. Known as the "Flower Town", it boasts of its aristocracy and distinguished architecture which is highlighted by a vivid landscape and mountain scenery. Since we were staying in the northern part of the island, I would say that it took us around one hour by car to reach the town. I was really impressed by the natural Charm of Quatres-Bornes, and it has some nice shopping centers and stores. But...

Bukowski: Born Into This Film Review

Advantages: It's Bukowski!
Disadvantages: It's got Bono in it!

...never really achieve a better understanding of the writer than the one we had before. This may be because Bukowski actually was a drunk, a womanizer and a frequent gambler, as first thought, or it may be because the film doesn't really delve any deeper than this. Whereas I won't deny that Born Into This is an interesting account of the author in question, in places it does feel as if it was made to portray the influence Bukowski had on the lives of others -- Bono, Sean Penn and Tom Waits each give their story -- rather than go for broke and uncover the man behind the writing pen. Having just read his novel Women, there's a contrast in his chauvinistic sexual tendencies with some of the most touching moments he spent living in isolation, which can be seen in some of his poetry. Dullaghan has collected a lot of information on Bukowski, but...

What a great band! Jet. Get Born.

Advantages: Life, energy and rock and roll joy.
Disadvantages: None whatsoever in any way, shape or form.

...with quality songs delivered by some young men having a ball doing them. Give me more of this. More, more, more! At the time of this review, Get Born by Jet is available for £8.99 at Amazon....
