...Libera is vocal group of boys aged from seven to sixteen years. The total number of members in the group varies slightly from year to year, as the group changes on a regular basis. Most of the boys are members of St. Philips Choir (Norbury, South London). For the New Dawn album, 24 boys from a variety of schools and backgrounds were bought together to create a distinctive sound - most of the choristers are trebles, and sing male soprano parts. The group is directed by Robert Prizeman, who often composes some of the music and rearranges other well known classical melodies to best show the talents of the members of Libera. So onto the album, New Dawn had a UK release date of 3rd March 2008, and a US release date of 2nd September 2008. The Heights of Literature

Advantages: A classic novel that impress peole with your variety of reading materials
Disadvantages: a slightly contrived ending

...As many of you know, I have a great love of literature. Not just the current best sellers but children's classic, adult's classics, text books and many more genres. However, when studying my A2 literature I found that the books lost a lot of the appeal that they once held. Therefore I am pleased to say that I didn't read the classic Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte until just the other day. I had read Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre and fell in love at once with Mr Rochester, all of the Austen novels, falling in love at once with Mr Darcy and many of the other Victorian type novels, mostly for pleasure but with the mind that they would help for comparison of texts of the era when I sat the dreaded exam for the worst book I have ever read, Tess of the D'Urbevilles. Summer Heights High - A Triple Threat!

Advantages: Hilarious laugh out loud comedy - when you understand it
Disadvantages: This will probably be the only series

How many other white, thirty something year old men can firstly play a Tongan 13 year old and a thirty something year old teacher of the calibre of Mr G, both exceptionally convincingly ? before taking on the role of Ja?mie, sixteen year old, popular, hot, girl? Very few me thinks. Ja?mie (originally Jamie but she had it changed for obvious reasons...) has come to Summer Heights High on a government program, but also for her own reasons. Partly she wants to see what life is like in the suburbs and to challenge her own views of what it is like to be a povo (poor). Partly, she seems to love being the centre of attention, and the superiority complex she has obtained in her sheltered life thus far serves her well putting her new classmates into place. Disadvantages: Difficult language. Some complications

...Wuthering Heights is a book about people. It’s a soap opera in the lives of two households in early 19th century northern England and is one of those books that you just have to read. It’s often mistaken for a love story telling the story of the famous romance between Catherine and Heathcliff. That was one of the mistakes I made. Although there is a relationship explored between these two characters, it’s by no means the main aspect of the story. Emily Brontë explores a range of issues in this book which were obvious key aspects of life at this time. Ideas such as inheritance rights, relationships, marriages and death are all dealt with and a range of options given to the reader. ...to have an environmental survey of a new property, as a result of this CWPL decided that there was a problem with naturally occuring Radon gas. - for those of you not au fait with this, Radon is a radioactive gas that occurs naturally around areas based on Granite, i.e. Devon and Cornwall. It does not occur in Dorset and the survey showed this. we took two days of phone calls to get through to CWPL to persuade them of the wording of the report, obviously they raised the objection either as a delaying tactic or out of malice. THe wording on the survey was completely unambiguous: "Is the area affected by Radon Gas?" reply "No" We have a lodger who will be moving with us. he was required to sign an affidavit to the effect that he would agree to vacate our home on competion, which he willingly did. Reaching new heights

Advantages: Chris O'Donnel :)and loads of real climbing action!
Disadvantages: Typical plot

...left with a limited time span in which to reach them. Not only do they have to climb to heights up to 26,000 feet, but they also have to find and bring them out from their icy tomb. Expert climber Ed Viesturs, whom already has topped Everest five times and K2 once makes an appearance here and also helps guides the actors through the entire process. Filmed in the mountain regions of New Zealand, it adds to the authenticity, as the mountains there are nearly similar to the ones in the Himalayas. Non-stop action, beautiful scenery, along with a little drama makes this one a worthwhile watch for any adrenalin buff!
