...Dolac is Zagreb?s very colourful central fresh produce market. It is situated in the area just behind Trg Bana Jelacic and you can access it though a small lane where you see the flower market start. The market was opened in 1930, having been built on the site of a slum clearance; it was agreed by the city's bigwigs that the houses there were not a fitting sight for visitors to a capital city and so they were duly demolished. I was delighted to read that in his speech at the opening of the market, the mayor of Zagreb Dr. Stjepan Srkulj said "?During my visit to Holland this year, ladies and gentlemen, I can honestly say that I did not see a market that was as nice as this...? - and, you know, it is rather special. A Bit of Culture in the Market Place

Advantages: Great variety of entertainment on offer. Generally cheaper prices than larger venues

All New Birmingham Rag Market

Advantages: Cheap, diverse product range
Disadvantages: Difficult to get to, can't always get what you want

...Those local (and maybe not so local) to Birmingham and the Midlands will know Birmingham is undergoing a major face lift at the moment - this includes the demolition and reconstruction of all things Bull Ring related. The Rag Market in its original place moved temporarily to the old Bus Depot about 2 years ago. As this was only ever a temporary home, Brum council set about building new homes for the fruit and veg and rag markets. Both these buildings opened earlier this year. Well done Brum Council! Not only are the new buildings warmer, cleaner, brighter, safer and generally better - they have managed to keep the diversity, all round funkiness and general atmosphere of the old rag market well and truly alive. The Cattle Market

Advantages: Nowhere else on earth has more multiculturalism packed into one place
Disadvantages: These days it's little more than a tourist attraction.

Advantages: intersting products, something for everyone, great for gifts

Borough Market - 250 years of food heaven

Advantages: Fresh produce, lots of choice.
Disadvantages: Can spend too much money.

Running on Black Market Blood?

Advantages: The bands most versatile album to date; crosses genres quite well
Disadvantages: There are bland moments to behold and some messages are a bit hazy

Following nine months in the studio, 'Black Market Music' was released in the October of 2000 with the promise that it would be a lot less about lead singer Brian Molko's own personal shortcomings and more about telling a story through an array of characters, a notion that was to certainly be expanded on from 1998's album. Not being aware of the band back when it was first release, in all of my innocent glory, it wasn't until a couple of years ago when I received this album. The Wharfedale is crowned new king of the budget market

Advantages: Impressive bass extension, depth and spaciousness
Disadvantages: Perhaps it is not as lively as some speakers

.... The icing on the cake is the treble which despite the volume, remains neutral and thus integrated to the rest of the sound. So if you are a fan of slow music or classical, you are bound to revel in this and for those who like their music, faster and harder, the bass extension and detail will not disappoint one bit. It is good to see that this relatively cheaper end of the market remains fiercely competitive and Wharfedale have really been forced to up the ante in terms of sound quality to compete with Monitor Audio, but it's clear that they have now set the standard for others to follow. I would highly recommend these speakers and honestly see little to fault them on. If we are comparing like for like, then perhaps the BR2's retain a certain more excitement to the music which might be welcomed in some genres. However the BR2'st fail to capture...
