...Those of you who are a regular readers of my reviews , will probably have noticed that I am a massive magazine fan. I read a lot of magazines from teen ones to womens ones , celeb ones to lifestyle ones. You can easily say I love my magazines. One magazine which I buy on a fairly regular basis is one called New magazine, which is a weekly celebrity gossip magazine which sells for 80p although just recently I have started buying it a pack along with three other magazines ( OK , OK! USA and Star magazine) for a price of £2.95 , which works out at a cheaper price than the price you would pay if you were to buy the magazines individually.
First of all , one of the main reasons I started to buy this magazine was because of the price , at the time it was just 60p , (but it has now gone up (like everything else) to 90p.) and I think that is...

Review of New! Magazine
...Well, I have to give it Capcom this time; they really pulled a rabit out of their hats with Tech Romancer. I am used to Capcom rehashing titles and the new ones that they do come up with sporting the Street Fighter engine. They must of went back to the drawing board with Tech Romancer. The two are nothing alike with the exception of the power meter used for finishing moves in the game, but well get to that later.
The gameplay is fun and easy to get into. Not too fast -(like Virtual On)- not too slow. Just right for huge Godzilla sized mechs. There are no complex directional pad movements to perform before pressing a button. Now it is mostly composed of one and two at a time button mashes to pull off moves. There are a couple of moves, like using an aquired item, that requires you to press three buttons simataniously. An finally...
Advantages: (+) covers discolourations (+) no allergic reactions (+) great finish with brush or sponge Disadvantages: (-) Price (-) very heavy if not applied right
...I am a self-confessed Foundation addict; I know wearing foundation everyday is most likely unhealthy for my skin, but I can't go out of the house without wearing it. I have uneven facial skin tone as I have freckles and really rosy cheeks, so Foundation is a must for me.
For reference I am NW15-NW20 though when I first purchased Studio Tech, I got it in the darker shade of NW25 as it was nearly Summer and I knew I'd be tanned anyway so didn't need to worry about a darker foundation. The shade was really nice, though I'd probably not be able to wear it usually unless of course my face was tanned, as previously stated.
This is what I noticed over the few weeks that I wore it:
~ it tends to darken slightly during the day when exposed to (extreme-ish) heat.....don't know if that was just me seeing things?
~ works much better...
Advantages: Great for hitting, close control and lifting Disadvantages: Price is quite high
...I have been playing hockey for a considerable number of years now and i gaced a tough decision when I decided i needed a new stick this season.
The last stick i bought was a very good stick and was very expensive as it cost me over £200, however its durability was very poor.
After doing some research on the internet i found the Grays O tech stick, with new technology that channeled the energy of the hit down to the ball because of the holes in the isde of the stick. They also decrease air resistance so that the swing can increase its speed. In my opinion you cannot argue with the technology behind this stick and i was thoroughly convinced. My local sports shop had one of these sticks in stock and i got to have a feel of the stick with a ball. I found the stick to have a great feel to it and it is very responsive. The only problem was...
Advantages: Repair job was ok Disadvantages: Very slow service, overcharged me. Very hard to get a refund.
...running late and hence had not rung back, but the glasses had been fixed. So I payed an agreed 25 pounds to have both arms fixed, and the man said he would post them back straight away. 4 days went, and I had received nothing. So I rang them again the following Tuesday and the man said I should receive them any time because they had posted them on Friday when I had paid. I waited another 6 days till the following Monday and have finally received them back (today).
***************** The postage receipt says they were posted on the 4.12.09. So this was the Saturday just gone, more than a week after they had told me they had posted them. Secondly they have charged me 30 pounds rather than 25 pounds that I agreed.
So www.spec-tech.co.uk have not kept my their same day return policy (taking more than a week to get back to me...

Advantages: Perfect colour matching, excellent coverage, stylish container Disadvantages: Pricey, somewhat tricky to apply compared to other foundations
...When I was about 18, I discovered this little counter in Selfridges called MAC. When I looked at the prices, small beads of sweat began to develop on my forehead.. Yep, MAC is pricey, but you really DO get what you pay for, and I sincerely mean that! And if you're savvy, you can easily get MAC from ebay!
PRODUCT INFORMATION AND PRICE
Studio Tech foundation retails at approximately £22 (depending on when you read this review!) for which you get a stylish black compact with a mirror, 10g of foundation, the two layer compact houses a small sponge in the lower section (but if you are serious about your foundation application, you'll probably never use this). MAC's wonderful range of skin tone colours means you can get the PERFECT match, they have a full range of tones suitable for yellow and pink undertoned skin. The compact should...
Advantages: It's Mario, it looks lovely, sounds brilliant, plays well Disadvantages: A little easy, a little short, a little lacking in possible DS features
...After purchasing a Nintendo console one of the first games you have to buy is that consoles Mario game, be it the original games on the NES, the 3D monster on the N64, the wonderfully huge Mario Galaxy on the Wii or of course this, ?New? Super Mario Bros. On the DS.
Costing around £30 for the game may seem like quite a lot but with it being Mario you know to expect quality, fun and one of the most complete platforming games available to gamers anywhere out there. Simply put Mario is a sign of Nintendo at their complete best, but how does the DS game hold up against the others in a long line of great games?
Well the opening menu gives you a host of options including 2 player, single player and mini games. Though the mini games seem rather pointless they do allow you to have a play with the DS and use the stylus, good idea but sadly...
Advantages: Very accurate, brilliant optical on almost all surfaces, SO comfortable to use, 5 buttons, 2 wheels Disadvantages: Not many! Only one wheel has a button though
...I've had the A4Tech WOP-35PU mouse for a long time, I remember getting it due to wishing to have an optical mouse but not spend too much, and it cost me under £10, so I was very surprised at how well it lasted, and most of all, how happy I was with the mouse.
In my opinion this is the best mouse I've ever used. I used to find Microsoft Intellimice the most comfortable, but this fits in my hand perfectly and is very well designed, with easy access to use all 5 buttons, so it is very well designed.
Visually, the mouse looks very professional, with a slight futuristic effect, amazingly without looking too tacky, so I'd definitely say it looks great.
The buttons themselves are reasonably light in touch to use, but not too light to accidently knock (the only slight problem being a very slight tendancy to knock the left side button by...

Review of A4Tech mouse
Advantages: some good articles, not too expensive Disadvantages: Quite a lot of boring articles
...Digging into the pile of magazines I bought the previous week, I fumbled across a copy of New! Magazine, this one dated December 2008. I had initially bought the magazine because of the cover stories; news of celebrity 'bumps', and an article about Jade Goody. I could only hope the rest of the articles seemed as promising inside, as this was the first time I had bought a copy of New!
After you turn over from the attractive pink cover, you come to the usual contents page you find in a magazine. Usually I skim read this, though as I had not read New before, I decided I'd not bother this time and find surprise in the extra features I hoped to find within.
The next few pages contained images and little facts about celebrity gossip and fashion in general. Usually these celebs don't interest me, though on finding Myleene Klass here, I...
