According to my dictionary a tabloid is a newspaper with pages about half the size of a standard (broadsheet) newspaper, especially one that has relatively short and condensed articles and a large proportion of pictorial matter. However in more recent years the word tabloid has become synonymous with words like gossip, scandal and exclusive. Of the entire British daily tabloid papers The Sun, with a daily circulation of over 3 and a half million readers is by far the most successful and it is on this particular newspaper that I have decided to write my review. Sick Newspaper

Advantages: It doesn't get sold much in Liverpool
Disadvantages: It actually exists

...Having read one or two opinions on “The Sun” newspaper, actually known up here in Liverpool as “The Scum”, I was shocked at how many people actually rate this pathetic newspaper and I had to write my own opinion on this. Advantages: keeps you up to date with news, informative, wile away time.
Disadvantages: Not all are recycled, can be pricey, might get eaten by the dog and get ink on your hands.

...The review I am writing is about newspapers in general. Personally I think there are too many newspapers around today, some of which I wouldn?t touch with a barge pole. Newspapers like the Sun, Star or other newspapers hosting page 3 girls I hate. I just don?t see the need of it and it cheapens the paper. Although this saying it does tend to be happening a little less now than it was a few years ago. Sometimes instead of a page 3 girl there?s an interesting or important story there instead. Advantages: From The Guardian to The Daily Sport - there are national papers in Britain...

Advantages: Once you've got the hang of it, and found the reviewer you hate, it works every time.
Disadvantages: If street cred is more important to you than enjoying yourself...you need to reverse the process.

Advantages: Good mixture of stories, competitions & letters
Disadvantages: Pages are not very quality & they are increasing the price.

...Love it! is the new magazine released by the Sun newspaper to compete with the likes of Take a break, that's life etc its meant to be more of a women's weekly than a trashy celeb magazine full of gossip like Heat, Ok etc. Love it! is more a real life magazine full of true stories unlike their famous tabloid. I think the magazine has been on the cards for quite a while as the sun used to release a simple Sunday magazine for TV listings for the week. They then began to release a second weekly TV guide released on a Saturday of TV secrets and TV listings. This left the Sunday magazine a bit boring so they decided to spice it up by adding a few real life stories, a couple of agony aunt pages and a star sign page.
