This is the only shop where I buy my childrens clothes from, clothing for myself and most of my homewear WHAT IS NEXT ~~~~~~~~~~~~ NEXT is a retailer that sells Ladies, Mens, childrens clothes, home wear and accessories. The first NEXT store opened in February 1982 with an exclusive co-ordinated collection of stylish clothes, shoes and accessories for women. Collections for men, children and everything for the well dressed home followed. As that was a big successes, a catalogue was launched in 1988 called Next Directory which was and still is a big successes. THE Premier Home shopping Catalogue

Advantages: good quality clothing, fantastic customer service,
Disadvantages: expensive APR on flexible account

...leggings highly enough as they keep their shape wash after wash. The Boys wear is just as good but again the sizes could be a bit more generous. Interiors This section is what homes were made for!! Unfortunately this section is very pricey. There are some brilliant wallpapers and curtains and lots of little nick knacks for your home. The furniture looks very well made but it is expensive. Customer Service Well this is where I think Next really shines. They look to answer your call in 15 seconds and I have never been kept waiting yet. The advisors are always courteous and helpful and will advise of alternatives if the item you want is out of stock. They delivery goods next day if possible and you can choose am or pm delivery – brilliant. You can also order online or through the post. Delivery costs £2.50 per order...

Advantages: Reasonable pricing, good quality clothes, lots of stores
Disadvantages: Everyone else wears the same clothes, not always a great selection

...although they can be somewhat frumpy and ill fitting, trying on is a must! I have several work shirts from Next, the only problem is it that they are a popular choice to expect to find a lot of people in your office wearing the same clothes! Prices: At around £15 for a shirt and between £20 and £30 for a pair of trousers I think that this is excellent value for clothes that seem to last for quite a long time. What else to they sell? Most of my experience stems from women's wear but they also have a wide collection of children's clothes, men's wear and a large home wear collection with items such as furniture and candles. The fitting rooms: Going shopping at a weekend you can guarantee that the fitting rooms will be crowded so I suggest going in the week. Disadvantages: Seems to be run by people who know nothing about the pets they are selling

...hutch. I was rather concerned that maybe he had an infection which the other rabbit may have caught so i rushed off to the vets to have Jake checked. Jake was find and the vet said that he had probably had a stroke and it was just one of those things. Over the next few days Jake was pining for his little friend so i decided to go back to pets at home and get him a new little playmate. The rabbits were in the same enclosure as on my previous visit marked male and female. In the male side there were 3 male lop eared rabbits so again we chose one. I spoke to the sales assistant for around 10 minutes and specifically asked if the rabbit we had chosen was definitly male. He assured me it was and said all their rabbits are sexed before they are put up for sale, he even turned the rabbit upside down to check. I paid £25 for the rabbit named...

  Bargains For Your Home

Advantages: Can save you money on your normal shop
Disadvantages: You pick things up you wouldn't normally. Items change regularly.

Homestyle I often shoot down this aisle but very rarely buy things as I am so picky over my home and what goes in it but that's just me. I have picked up a couple of things from here though - a bed canopy for my daughters room is the main one that I can think of. It matched her Next Butterflies bedroom perfectly and was a fraction of the cost of the one in the directory. In this section you will find ornaments, frames, canvas pictures (very nice for young people just setting up home together and so much cheaper than other shops), bedding (recently saw Bob The Builder in here), and kitchen equipment to name a few. ...I generally make a trip to pets at home (Ayr branch) every second month to stock up on a few pet essentials and for a general browse. Pets at home stock a wide variety of products for most pets, and most products look of a reasonable to good quality. Products are priced competively, and in some cases are cheaper than buying online, if you consider that you would also have to pay delivery charges. The shop layout is good, and everything is easy to find. Some items are placed fairly high and as a person of small height, I sometimes have to ask for assitance in reaching items, although this generally isn't a problem-the staff have usually been very helpful. However, on the occasions I have been in pets at home, I have come away feeling less than happy at the condition the 'livestock' are kept in. In fairness, some of these points...

...Well, I've already given you lucky people my opinion on Next's rival shop, Oasis, so I thought I should probably do a Next op. First off, maybe I'm a little biased because I actually work in the Reading branch of Next, but I think this should actually make me like the shop less if anything, and I still love the place. Next is one of my favourite High-Street shops - they cater for most occasions and they really are a force to be reckoned with, with Ladieswear, Kidswear, Menswear and Home departments in each store. Obviously the department I'm the most familiar with is Ladieswear, but since working there I think I can comment on the others without looking like a complete fool! Ladieswear is the department Next is the most worshipped for. In this department you can find clothes for work, formal occasions, parties, sitting around...

Next please!!!!!!!!!!!!

...I first started shopping here after the birth of my eldest boy 10 years ago, someone bought me some baby clothes and i was very impressed with the quality ( and they were so cute )So i went in and had a look and the rest is history !!! The stores are always well postioned on most high streets my local one is bromley in kent. I always thought thati couldn't afford to shop in next and i must admit some of there clothes are a bit pricey but i do believe you get what you pay for and the quality is very good. I still have clothes especially tops and shirts that i bought 8 years ago and they still look good and wash up well, ( and they have come back in fashion!!) I must also admit i have got a store card which i know is not the best thing to have but it suits me. I also have their catalogue delivered because they do have bits in there...
