...I can't believe that I haven't wrote a review on NEXT before now. This is the only shop where I buy my childrens clothes from, clothing for myself and most of my homewear WHAT IS NEXT ~~~~~~~~~~~~ NEXT is a retailer that sells Ladies, Mens, childrens clothes, home wear and accessories. The first NEXT store opened in February 1982 with an exclusive co-ordinated collection of stylish clothes, shoes and accessories for women. Collections for men, children and everything for the well dressed home followed. As that was a big successes, a catalogue was launched in 1988 called Next Directory which was and still is a big successes. Advantages: Reasonable pricing, good quality clothes, lots of stores
Disadvantages: Everyone else wears the same clothes, not always a great selection

THE Premier Home shopping Catalogue

...I am really impressed with the Next Directory. I have been using it now for about 4 years and during that time I have found that the quality of clothing and customer service is the best around. Next was formed in 1981 soon selling women’s, men’s’ and children’s clothing. The next Directory was launched in 1988 and it won House Beautiful’s Mail Order Master Award in 2000. The Next Directory is a brilliant catalogue. It cost £3.00 but it is worth for a hard backed catalogue that will keep its appearance for the whole season. one of my favourite shops

Advantages: gorgeous clothes, friendly staff, great variety

...OVERVIEW --- Next is a very good high street store, they have great items of clothing for all ages, i have always found the stores to be clean and tidy with friendly and efficent staff i dont think i have ever had a problem with the stores, its usually not that busy either and if it is they put a lot of staff on the tills so your not having to wait ages as when your struggling with kids it can be very hard. I also find the items are always good quality and wash very nice aswell which is brilliant for kids clothes! GOOD --- The best points about next as i mentioned above is the quality of the clothes, they wash nice they fit realy well they can be a little expensive but they are worth it. ...For years I have loved Next, and I still do. I think their clothes are fantastic and its a great shopping experience. I think their casual clothes are really good. You can get stuff that goes together really nicely and the 'est82' range is great for casual wear. Their sizing is consistant and clothes are comfortable. The pricing can sometimes be a bit over the top, for example suits are expensive, but the sets of three t-shirts are great value for money. The jewelery, shoes and make up ranges are also very good, and homewares are excellant. Their sales are also fab if you can get out of bed for it starting cos otherwise you are unlikely to get much stuff. The only gripes I have with Next are that sometimes their stuff can be a tad mumsy, and that the petite range is not as complete as the full range. Having short...

Disadvantages: You never know when an assignment will come to you

...for about a year and so far been paid on time and have never had to contact them to ask where the money is. Usually you get a payment of £10 straight into your account and this is sometimes a little more if they want you to buy a certain item from a store. I have had regular assignments and they now even ring me up on my mobile if anyone cannot do an assignment in my area, quite often I have had a call to go to a bank or shop the next day to do an assignment someone has dropped out of. When this happens they email you the questionnaire which you can print off and send back to them to get paid. I have made a regular steady flow of tenners from this company and highly recommend them to you if your looking for extra cash. When I first joined it took them about six weeks to get back to me with an assignment, but I'm really glad I'm a member...

Shopping with Teenagers

...Advantages: Loads of stuff available, good prices Disadvantages: can get busy at christmas time so much so people abandon their shopping I am a huge Asda fan, it's where I do most of my shopping and I know where everything is which makes it easier when dragging 3 kiddies along with you! In my local Asda we have a photo centre, cafe, George, electricals, homewear, toys, bakery, pizzaria, rottisary (chicken place lol), fresh meats counter and all the usual foody aisles plus we have a petrol station, cash machines and bus stop. It's the largest shopping store we have although we do have a Tesco, Lidl, Aldi, Co-Op, Farm Foods and Iceland. I have never had a bad experience with Asda and the stock is usually replenished quite quickly! They have such a huge range that I know I can do my weekly shop and more there. Everything...

Advantages: good range of sizes, lovely bright colours, good girls party clothes
Disadvantages: not so much choice for boys

...I can only speak for kids clothes in next as I don't buy adult clothes from them. I don't buy many clothes from them, but the bits and pieces I have bought have been really good. If you have a good look at the clothes, you do find some of the items a bit overpriced, but generally they are comparable to places like Adam's and Mothercare. I think the quality is good. I like the fact that they make a good range of sizes in each item. Sometimes you can't always get the size that you want, but often they have them at the back of the shop, so it is always worth an ask if something is not in the size you require. I find that the clothes wash well, I have never had any problems with them at all. I do think that the Girls sections have more choices than boys, but I find this to be the same everywhere. ...Well, I've already given you lucky people my opinion on Next's rival shop, Oasis, so I thought I should probably do a Next op. First off, maybe I'm a little biased because I actually work in the Reading branch of Next, but I think this should actually make me like the shop less if anything, and I still love the place. Next is one of my favourite High-Street shops - they cater for most occasions and they really are a force to be reckoned with, with Ladieswear, Kidswear, Menswear and Home departments in each store. Obviously the department I'm the most familiar with is Ladieswear, but since working there I think I can comment on the others without looking like a complete fool!
