The A8N-SLi Deluxe is no exception to this and offers a host of overclocking and other features and excellent build quality. Installation of components onto the board is a relatively simple matter and thanks to Asus' Stack Cool 2 and the heat pipe system the board is incredibly efficient at dissipating heat. However, the one problem I did have with the board was that the onboard Realtek sound card was a little tempormental with the bundled drivers and would not install at all on Vista. Fortunately, this is easily fixed by downloading the latest drivers from Asus' website. Advantages: Looks great, simple layout, digital readout.
Disadvantages: None found so far.

...Upgrading to this was something totally necessary, going from a northbridge fan to a convection cooler there is not much difference in performance and there is very little difference in noise. I found that it was quick and simple to change, nothing abnormal about this one. A great feature on this board is the numeric display instead of a 'beep' tones letting you know just what is wrong and ware, helped me out several times, however it is upside down if the computer is conventional and upright so make sure you have the right code. One other small little feature that works a treat is the red LED's mounted on the back of the board, it makes it look great in any case. Advantages: Amazing presentation; stylish gameplay; great for kids and adults alike; it's just plain fun!
Disadvantages: Frequent slowdown; too short; more boss battles would be nice; lack of replay value.

...replayability, as, if you haven't done it already, go and get all the pages from the Thievius Raccoonus by getting all the clues and unlocking all the steel vaults. And after you've done that you can do the time trials in certain levels. But sadly, the replay value is kind of lacking compared to, say, Crash Bandicoot:The Wrath of Cortex. Once you've done all that, you're pretty much done with the game, though you will probably play through the game to see if you can beat it quicker. Overall, i wouldn't pay the nearly £60 offer that's on amazon for brand new copy of Sly Raccoon, but maybe a £6.99 offer is more appreciable. The cost of these graphics cards will undoubtedly drop, so the SLi capability of this motherboard seems to be futureproof for the moment until a newer faster format is produced. The motherboard also does away with a few pci slots and replaces them with the (up to 4 times) faster pci express slots, which will undoubtedly be the new format adopted by all future motherboards. It still incorporates 3 ordinary pci slots, so that if you are simply upgrading, you wont have to begin entirely from scratch. If you have a digital camera aswell as an mp3 player and a host of other accessories which require USB or Firewire (IE1394), then you will no longer have to be searching around the back of your case for a spare dock or changing...
