...I have recently gone from blonde back to my natural colour and my hairdresser told me that despite putting a permanent brown on top of the blonde, it will fade and I would need to go back and keep having semi permanent dye on it to build up the pigment. Now I am trying to save a few pennies at the moment so decided to give it a go myself. I kept putting it off and putting it off until my hair got to the point where it looked quite gingery. It was only by chance that I was looking at the reduced aisle in Tesco and saw a box of this ?Nice and Easy? hair dye for just £1.80. I know nothing about the ?good and bad? of hair dye so thought this was probably as good as any. It really is Nice'n easy.

Advantages: Good even multi-tonal hair colour.
Disadvantages: Just the clearing up after.

...I have used Clairol Nice'n easy permanent hair colour for at least 20 years and have been highly satisfied each and every time with the outcome. Having a daughter hairdresser, I can always get a good cut and the only job left for me to do is to hide the ever increasing grey. A spare 30 minutes can usually be found every 5-6 weeks to apply the colour. The range of colours is vast starting at somewhere around No.96 which is the lightest blonde and going through the range to Blue/black. I use 101 which is Natural Baby Blonde and now that Clairol have incorporated blends into the colour to give a multi-tonal look, I feel that my own natural hair colour is in there somewhere.! Nice n' Easy Or Nice n' Messy

Advantages: Easy, just as it implies.
Disadvantages: Cheap plastic gloves, not enough conditioner

Nice n easy doesnt smell too nice...

Advantages: Normally gives you the desired colour
Disadvantages: Makes hair feel dry and smells pretty horrid

...Well, i've been using nice n easy for a while now. It normally gets me the colour i want and yes, likem it says on the label, its nice and easy to use. However its not so nice to smell, and i often find that after having the stuff on my head for half an hour, my nostrils and throat literally start burning for the chemicals! Which surely, cant be good for my hair. I've gotten out of the habit of using it quite as much as i used to now, due to the fact im pretty sure it frazzles my hair every time i use it.   Nice, mon paradis!

Advantages: Short cheap flight, sun, food, scenery, nice people, city AND beach
Disadvantages: Pricey, have to risk life and limb sliding down a minor scree slope into the sea!

Originally we thought of a weekend in Bath but as we didn't want to drive, the train was extortionate and the bus took for ever we looked a bit further afield. Now we have Jet2 from Leeds/Bradford airport, it was simple to look at their website to see where we could go reasonably cheaply. It was down to Prague or Nice; Nice won (could it be the promise of sun and seaside?!) Plus it only cost us about £20 each more than Bath believe it or not!
