...And so my crusade to review all sorts of terribly bad for you junk food continues. Yes, we've had Oreos, Wispas, Walkers Roast Chicken Crisps...and now we have a 'spin-off' off the Walkers brand, it's the good old fashion Quavers. It's familiar yellow packaging and traditional cheese flavour are favourites in lunchboxes up and down the land. For a time, I was a big fan of the other flavours - bacon, prawn cocktail and salt and vinegar, but they seem to fall by the wayside when it comes to competing with their bigger brother. Oh, and does anyone remember the ketchup flavour which flirted with the limelight for a while? As with all Walkers crisps now, they are made with Sunseed oil; a special type of sunflower oil (apparently), which results in far less saturated fat than before (up to 80% in fact). Walkers Shortbread

Advantages: Really tasty, sweet but not overpowering. A good price.
Disadvantages: None at all but beware of the salt

...I certainly now that it is Christmas when I get a request off my Nan to go and get her some shortbread! It is a regular thing now and from November onwards I have learned to keep my eye out for a bargain for her. Whilst in the Range of all places a couple of weeks ago I happened to spot a large display of Shortbread. Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54

Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead
Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.

Admittedly it was a slightly selfish purchase as we both live at home and wanted to watch DVDs on the big new TV ourselves! We bought the player from the electrical retailer Comet for about £100 just before Christmas so there were no discounts applied. ...I bought this baby walker for my twins and they loved it and played with it all the time and then it was then passed down to my youngest daughter who also loves it. The baby walker is made to support your baby when they first start to walk. The baby walker has also got a panel on the front which has lights, music and different activities for your child to do, when it is turned on it barks and says 'hello baby' then starts singing 'hello puppy calling do you want to play with me, lets have fun together while we learn your ABC'. ...As some of you know, I have a very sweet tooth. Unfortunately, I also have a very savoury tooth and I'm a particular sucker for a bag of crisps. So, you can imagine my delight each week when the weekly shop has been done and I can rumage around and see what delights my mum has bought for us to enjoy and devour this week. Our family likes a huge variety of crisps, usually resulting in 3 or 4 huge variety bags being bought- our usuals are Wotsits, McCoys, Hula Hoops and pringles. However this week was different. Sensational Walkers.

Advantages: Great tasting, different and high quality.
Disadvantages: High in calories, fat and salt.

Advantages: Easy to use and fun for young children. Light weight and stores easily.
Disadvantages: Must keep watchful eye when around stairs.

My son was fortunate to use one of these and it became his favorite place to sit and play. He also got his exercise and strengthened his legs for walking using this walker.
