...I am a smoker and have been for quite a few years. I have tried many options of quitting and always faild due to will power more than anything. If you dont want to quit you wont unfortunatly. This product was probably the worst I have ever tried tho the Nicorette version is exepensive to say the least that is the first down fall but you can get cheaper versions that will only cost you from about a £1 poundland did do one but I havent seen them in there lately but if you do want to try them i would look for the cheapest version due to they taste the same which is nasty and they burn your throught and tongue and that nasty taste will last in your mouth for what seems forever. I cant say that they work due to the taste I wouldnt have one when I did get a craving I would much prefer to have a cigerette. If you do want to quit...

...My husband was the smoker and had been smoking up till just over a year ago. My husband had been smoking since the age of 12 and seemed like he was smoking 40 a day but he only took a few puffs of the cigarette and put it out and about 5 minutes later would light up another cigarette. My husband just decided to throw his tobacco in the bin and said that today was the day. Anyway back to the subject of the nicorette gum my husband has been on these for just over a year and first he got them on the nhs and then he started buying them which are £5.69 for 30 pieces at the 2mg low strength and at that price every couple of days (as my husband gets them every couple of days) it does get quite expensive and he is finding it hard to quit because he still feels he needs the nicotine after a year and is finding it hard not to have the nicotine...

Does the gum really work....

...that the gum was hard, and once you had chewed for a few minutes I found that you had this boost of nicotine, that catches in the back if your throat, and therefore when I had a piece of gum, I needed something to drink. I had bought both the citrus and the mint ?I found the citrus to catch in my throat more so that the vague taste of mint. I did find a better brand of gum, but that?s for another op? ...in front of you :O) and you had to keep putting it out to save for later. By the time you got down to a length that was normal for a cigarette it tasted so stale and nasty but you smoked it anyway! Can you imagine, all these kids with cigarettes as long as they were tall and thinking they were soooo cool. The advertising in those days reported smoking to be a good thing, a cool thing and a beneficial thing. I remember the famous ad with the slogan of ?You?re never alone with a Strand? Oh how times change! I finally ended up smoking the low tar cigarettes as, by this time, it was known to be dangerous. I smoked approximately 20 a day, which I was quite proud of really. ...Today i have decided to quit smoking. Although i have only been smoking for a relatively short time (3 months = 10 cigarettes a day) i thought it better to quit while young. At around 8AM i strolled down to my local co op and enquired if they sold nicotine gum or lozenges, typically at first the woman informed me with a swift 'no' then on a second inspection of the shelves behind her she procured a packet of 'nicorette freshmint 2mg gum nicotine'. Niquitin cq lozenges (4mg)

...I give up smoking two years ago, but it was not easy, I tried the gum and the nicorette inhaler and I failed with both attempts. I had smoked for 14 years, so I new it was not going to be easy, I smoked 40 - 60 fags a day and I new I couldnt quit with willpower alone. I went to my GP and he was prescribing medicine, that could make you take fits, so I decided not to bother with this idea, as I would probably be the unlucky one who would take the fits. So I went to my local chemist and they informed me about Niquitin cq lozenges, they cost around £8.00, they advised me these would be good for me as I would have smoked my first fag within 30 mins of waking in the mornings. Texturising Gum,

Advantages: not greasy, easy to style

...I don?t normally do reviews on hair or cosmetic products but as this is something i use quite a lot in my hair then i thought id do one on it. Firstly this is quite cheap, i picked up a tub of this for less than a pound a while ago and its lasted me ages. Its very simple and easy to use too. You just rub a small amount into your fingers, a peanut sized amount should do, but perhaps less if you have shorter hair. The key to this is is use as little as possible to get the effect as then it doesn?t look greasy or like you have too much product in. The gum works really easily into the hair and its easy to distribute evenly as its not too thick, yet still quite firm in texture. When added, if you have shorter hair, then its easy to stick bits up, however longer hair just adds texture and you may have to use another product if you...

...I am someone who likes to fidget and do something, and I often find that chewing gum is a good outlet for that. Today I was buying a magazine in my college shop (no more exams, ha ha!!) and at the counter, I decided on an impulse buy (ahhh capitalism working on me!) and I picked up a packet of Hubba Bubba bubble gum. The packet was 9cm long, and I thought, good good, nice lot of bubble gum to keep me going! I paid 30p for my packet, picked up my magazine and headed out the shop and proceeded to attack the packet to get to the bubble gum? But what disappointment, I realised that the packet only had 5 pieces in!!!! How scabby! Each piece is 2.5cm by 2cm, and that?s how the packet looks like it gives you a lot more than it actually does!! Hmph.
