...the best thing I found was my doctor who prescribed me tablet unfortunatly if you suffer from any sort of depression dont take them they make you worse but you will recive regualr support from the nurses and they do work. Try support groups too they can be alot of help but if you set that date to quit stick to it but I would advise not to use these chewing gums they make you feel sick and will not help you quit....

...My husband was the smoker and had been smoking up till just over a year ago. My husband had been smoking since the age of 12 and seemed like he was smoking 40 a day but he only took a few puffs of the cigarette and put it out and about 5 minutes later would light up another cigarette. My husband just decided to throw his tobacco in the bin and said that today was the day. Anyway back to the subject of the nicorette gum my husband has been on these for just over a year and first he got them on the nhs and then he started buying them which are £5.69 for 30 pieces at the 2mg low strength and at that price every couple of days (as my husband gets them every couple of days) it does get quite expensive and he is finding it hard to quit because he still feels he needs the nicotine after a year and is finding it hard not to have the nicotine...

...wrigleys new 5 chewing gum are really good, they smell very strong, you can smell them before you've opened the packet. And then i know we are talking about chewing gum here but they look really stylish and cool, and are in a really cool packet very differnent from other chewing gums. The taste is really good not as strong as the smell, but very nice and quite longlasting. what i like about the product: they smell really strong they taste very nice the taste lasts quite a long time the packet looks really cool, doesnt look like something you would have chewing gum in what i dont like about the product: it is a little expensive and althought the packaging looks very cool, its not as strong as normal chewing gum packaging and can break in your pocket. price: The cost is rather high - around £1.49 for two of the packets as described, in...

Advantages: delicious, chewy, low calorie and sugar

Picking the first one up and biting right into it, I noticed how chewy its shiny texture was; a delight to me, I love chewy jellies. The ones that are all soft and squeaky are disgusting! As I chewed my way through the packet, I discovered that each sweet was full of fantastic fruity flavour, each juicy with its own taste. I could not match each taste to a particular fruit whilst eating, and had hoped to find out afterwards so I read the back of the packet, only to find that it was not stated. Wrigley's other main flavour is peppermint, and comes in blue packaging. It don't think it is as nice as spearmint, mainly because it is too strong, and loses its' taste fairly quickly. Wrigley's 5: A "Concept" Gum That's Not Worth The Extra...

Advantages: Bags of flavour that lasts for ages.
Disadvantages: Crispiness adds nothing. Not worth the premium.

Neither the package nor the website specify why it?s called ?5?, but as the advertising tagline is ?Stimulate the Senses? I assume it?s a reference to the five senses. THE GUM I got a blast of tropical aroma when I first opened the cellophane, and this only intensified when I opened the packet and then the foil wrapper. The predominant scent is of pineapple, mango and coconut. The stick of gum itself is not uniform in colour ? it?s a sort of banana yellow with darker light brown flecks and occasional white ones. Disadvantages: expensive..and expect to use gum for 3 months

...that the gum was hard, and once you had chewed for a few minutes I found that you had this boost of nicotine, that catches in the back if your throat, and therefore when I had a piece of gum, I needed something to drink. I had bought both the citrus and the mint ?I found the citrus to catch in my throat more so that the vague taste of mint. I did find a better brand of gum, but that?s for another op? Advantages: You can smoke (chew them) anywhere :O)
Disadvantages: You need willpower to stop chewing it!
