Siana Anti Wrinkle Night Cream
Review of Siana Anti Wrinkle Night Cream by
JodaleneC
Advantages: Very light and refreshing with subtle fragrance
Disadvantages: None that I have experienced
...I am 24 years old and although some people may think this is a young age to begin using Anti Wrinkle Creams, you would be wrong. Many beauticians have advised me that the ideal age to begin using these products is around 21 years old.
I have tried many face creams in the past, anti wrinkle and general moisturisers. But I have to say that I have fallen in love with Siana Anti Wrinkle Night Cream. I apply the cream at night after fully cleansing my face and I find it a very satisfying product.
The cream is very light with a subtle refresshing fragrance. And although I have found several night creams to leave my skin feeling greasy in the morning, this is not the case with Siana Night Cream. I wake to find that my skin looks very refreshed and feels silky smooth with no geasy residue.
You can buy 50ml of this cream for under £2 which...

Wake Up Tired Eyes
Review of Boots No 7 Time Resisting Day & Night Eye Care by
tac20
Advantages: Fun packaging, easy to use, visible results, Hypo-allergenic
Disadvantages: Expensive, occassional blockages
...I think what first attracted me to this product was the packaging. I realise that sounds incredibly fickle, but it really is a fun concept. I also heard about this product through a member of my family who uses it regularly. Both the day and night creams come within the one container and then are separated in their own tubes with a different plunger on top for each. A practical advantage of this is that the user can check that they are using each cream equally due to the transparent material the main body of the container is made from. But the fun aspect is that it feels like an expensive product: it feels like you are using something of quality every time you press the plungers.
Boots' No. 7 Time Resisting Day & Night Eye Cream claims to soothe puffiness and reduce fine lines by 25% in just two weeks. I was highly sceptical...

Help for Tired, Dry Skin
Review of The Body Shop Rich Night Cream with Vitamin E by
noosie
Advantages: Soft & Hydated Skin for once!
Disadvantages: None
...I have used The Body Shops Rich Night Cream with Vitamin E for almost 6 Years now!
I have in the past changed to other products but have always came back.
This moisturiser comes in a small tub and is applied at night to combat tired, dry skin, it is very rich so not a lot is required which means the small tub can last for ages. When applied it makes the skin feel slightly greasy but this is obsorbed during the night leaving the face feeling fresh and revitalised for the following day.
It is an ideal cream for both the summer and winter months and protects the face during sunny and windy conditions.
It is a greeny coloured cream and has a mild fragrance and has never seemed to irritate my skin in any way.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this product...at last a moisturiser that does what it promises...

Olay Regenerist Night
Review of Olay Regenerist Night by
duckie567
Advantages: Makes your skin feel silky and soft.
Disadvantages: Maybe the price.
...I bought this product after using the original regenerist lotion and cream. It was on offer in Boots and as I really like the other creams in the range I thought I would give it a try. It is a bit difficult to get out of the packaging, but once you do you have a pot of purple cream. The colour was a bit unusual but it smelt nice. The nice thing about this night cream, unlike other brands that I have tried is that it feels really silky when you put it on and absorbs into the skin really quickly. Usually night creams tend to be very heavy and thick and sit on top of the skin making you look shiney and greasy. Olay Regenerist Night cream however makes your skin feel lovely and soft as soon as you put it on. Over the years, I have tried numerous lotions and potions, but this is one I would definitely stick with. At around £20 per...

Leave stress behind
Review of Avon Calming Lavender Body Cream by
wulise
Advantages: Cheap and easy to use. Pleasant easy to open packaging
Disadvantages: I forget where I have left my tub!
...Stress, stress, stress.
Stress is the one complaint that I hear from many people today, but how can we help our body relax after a day of ‘modern living’? I have found a cream, which helps me. This cream helps to ‘leave stress behind’, allowing me to relax enough to soothe me to sleep at nights.
In Avon’s Aromatherapy range, there is a lovely lavender cream, called Calming Lavender Body Cream. It is pale lilac in colour and comes in a 150ml tub with screw lid. The cream is thick, so a small amount goes along way, leaving the skin feeling soft and not at all greasy. This cream is ideal to use at night, as another property of Lavender oil is that it relaxing as well as restoring.
The healing properties of Lavender Essential oil are well documented so this cream also helps to repair minor cuts and scraps...

Can't do without this miracle cream
Review of Avon Hydrofirming Cream Night Treatment by
lizbizi
Advantages: refreshing,light,easily absorbed,tones and firms.Low price
Disadvantages: fragrance not to everyones taste
...As a busy mum of four{five including my husband who's the biggest kid of all of them},full time catering assistant who is constantly up to her neck in washing, ironing or dishes my skin needs some miracle cream to keep it looking 30 years old instead of fifty.
What a task for the makers of skin care, to add to my skins daily battering i am usually late to bed and early to rise{midnight to bed,up at 6am} so finding a product that could work wonders in a short time was necessary.
I spent a long time trying various creams etc that were recommended by friends and colleagues and found nothing remotely suitable for me.
Well then my trusty Avon brochure arrived and they were highlighting their new product ,Avon Hydrofirming cream, it was on specail offer so i ordered a pot of day cream and a pot of the night cream.
A couple of weeks later...

Nutrious Nutrition for my Skin
Review of Garnier Nutritionist by
Yazzi1
Advantages: Plesant smell, light, easily spread, refreshing
Disadvantages: No SPFin day cream, can be hard to find in stores
...I have searched the site and it seems that there is no clear distinction between Garnier Nutritionist Day cream and Garnier Nutritionist Night cream, so I am going to write about both creams.
What does it do?
*******************
Well, the first product I purchased in the range was the day cream. I had seen it advertised, with properties such as Omega 3 + 6, Magnesium and Lipopeptides, which all sounds very advanced and technical! Actually what it really means is that the cream provides the skin with the essential fish oils and lipids in order to help improve the skin in terms of rejuvinating and elasticity. In the long term this should help to reduce the effect of wrinkles (not prevent!).
I was skeptical of the effects at first as you can never really believe the claims made, especially as the aim of advertising is to promote...

Sleeping Beauty.
Review of Boots No 7 Time Resisting Night Cream by
elaine16
Advantages: easily absorbed into skin, non greasy
Disadvantages: none
...I have never felt in need of a night cream, but as the years go by I thought it iwas time I started to incorporate a good night treatment into my skin regime , in the hope that it will help keep the dreaded wrinkles at bay.!
Wandering around Boots skin care section my eyes were drawn to the Boots range of moisturising creams and the Time Resisting Night Cream seemed a reasonable choice.
As my skin is fairly sensitive it was reassuring to read that it was suitable for sensitive skins and the price was within my budget.
With a vague sense of "shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted" , I was quite dubious about the results, if any this cream would make to my skin.
Here are a few details of the product
**Price**
-------------
£15.50 for a 50ml jar.

Review of Mackies Diary Ice Cream by
twinkledrops
Advantages: Flavour
Disadvantages: Price
...My husband one night brought home with him Mackies Dairy Ice Cream. I was a bit disappointed when I first saw it because I was making a chocolate pudding that is "usually" lip-licking delicious when served with the right kind of ice cream. I asked him why he decided to buy it and he said he had overheard an old couple shopping for ice cream say how wonderful it was. I wondered, "what do old people know?" But neither the blue and cream packaging nor the anaemic milky white colour of the ice cream itself reveals the pleasures awaiting you when you sample this milky white ice cream.
I finally begrudgingly served up the ice cream with the pudding. Expecting the worst I closed my eyes and tasted. Oh my word! It was the best ice cream I had ever had in my whole life. It gave the pudding the extra oomph that it needed. My husband...

Rich Night cream with Vitamin E-The Body Shop
Review of The Body Shop Rich Night Cream with Vitamin E by
Polestar
Advantages: Transforms extremely dry skin into healthy looking and feeling face skin. Helps maintain smooth and supple skin. Excellent applied as a massage for face before sleep.
Disadvantages: None
...Having extremely dry skin, I decided to try out Body Shop’s, “ Rich Night cream with Vitamin E”, which is one of the company’s star products.
I bought it as a recommendation and have been using it since for 2 years.
Rich Night cream is a moisture rich face cream for people with dry skin who need that little extra care. It is formulated with Vitamin E, which helps to combat free radicals, which can damage skin.
I FOUND IT EXTREMELY EFFECTIVE when used daily after cleansing before sleep, to help keep skin smooth and supple in the long run.
The product is a pale cream colour and has a sweet, creamy and clean fragrance, which isn’t too strong.
The cream smoothes out well so it is economical in use and is absorbed well without leaving the skin dry, which some moisture creams and soaps do. I find...
