Footjoy AQL Golf Shoes

Advantages: Look nice,
Disadvantages: Only lasted 5 rounds of golf.

...Purchased a pair of these golf shoes three weeks ago on th 29-Sept-2009.Whn they arrived the looked super and just what I wanted smart wee bit flash and Footjoy.After one round of golf they look like my old ones with the white leather across they front creasing badly.I tried puting leather protector on as footjoy said I should,all this has done no good today after five rounds of golf they are starting to split along the bottom.They are now on there way back to the shop who supplied them.(the shop is superb and it is not there fault).In summary there are plenty of very good golf shoes out there unfortunately The Footjoy AQL does not appear to be the best.I do have three other pairs of footjoy shoes which have served me well so this may be just a one off....

Nike Golf Nike One Black Golf Balls

Advantages: Very very long
Disadvantages: expensive to lose

...I tried a Nike Golf Nike One Black Golf Ball in a match play knockout yesterday, I play off 21 and my opponant was off 12 so granted i did have a few shot in hand. I have never used a Nike one black (the ball is white however) but was very impressed with the result. I found the ball which has a thin urethene cover and a enanced 408 dimples very long to hit, Longer than my usual PTS Solo golf balls. I was very impressed with the length and how straight it flew in the air. Off the tee I only missed two fairways but the length was very impressive. I won my game 3 and 2 and to be honest I didn't really need the shots. Really though i found the combination of the balls and my Ping G2 driver excellent. on the greens my ball did truely roll further and felt very nice to hit. I felt the disatnce almost with my first putt, and was never 2 foot...

Review of Nike Golf One Black Golf Balls

Nike Slingshot

Advantages: Great for all ages and handicaps
Disadvantages: don't get a sand iron

...Well, last year a set of Slingshot irons were selling at around £399 for a 3 iron to Pitch wedge. I bought my son a set of these from American Golf. The irons are very well made and have lovely grips. each iron has a little 'bridge' over the cavity and make a 'swoosh' when you swing them, its a great sound, and I can see why they are called Slingshot. previous to the Slingshot irons my son had Macgregor DX and the Nike were a very good buy. My son's handicap came down 4 shots within a month and he does hit these irons straight and long, there is so much confidence in each iron, right down to the 3. I don't have my 3 or 4 iron in my bag but my son who is 16 really does hit them well. The only downfall is that there isn't a sand iron in the set, and it would have made better sense to add a sand and taken away the 3, as most people don...

Nike Golf Balls Distance Control

Advantages: added distance and control
Disadvantages: a bit expensive

...I have been playing golf for many years now and after trying many different types of cheaper balls I though lets splash out and buy some Nike balls. I only bought three but my game has improved dramatically. A lot of research is put into making a golf ball and no expense is spared. I mean Nike must be doing something right because Tiger Woods and many other famous golfers would not be using Nike golf balls if they weren’t up to standard. Since I first bought my Nike golf balls I can drive the ball an extra 30 to 40 yards. I hook the ball less and my slice has been reduced as well. Nike Mojo

Advantages: Good priced ball from Nike
Disadvantages: nothing

...for several holes and in general it was ok, there wasn't hardly any markings on the ball, and as i have said off the tee it sounded nice and travelled, the approaches to greens, when i was online were ok, i couldn't really see much difference if any to my usual balls. These balls are supposed to make spin easier, but in all honesty i didn't see that at all. At around £16 for a dozen balls the Mojo certainly is worth the money, but if you are doing well with your usual golf balls i wouldnt swap over. I'm not sure i would swap to Mojo, Nike do make nice balls there is no doubt about it, but I think i will stick to Titleist PTS. overall 8 out of 10...

Nike NDS Irons

Advantages: Great feel and creativity
Disadvantages: American so include no SW

...As I began to progress as a golfer I decided that I needed to splash out on a good set of Irons. My pro had told me that a good set of irons can tkae up to 3 strokes of your score. I think that he is wrong and that it is more like 5-6! These clubs are that good. Firstly the NDS stands for the Nike Distance Serires. So reading that you may think that you lose control if you use the set. That is definately not true as progressive offsetting technique throughout the set allows for perfect ball shaping. The wide sole of the club allows for excellent connection with the club and compared to the modern club these are relatively heavily. I found this extremely helpful as it stopped me hitting semi-fatted shots and topping my shots. THe NDS's are also cast from 431 stainless steel which is 25% softer than the average 17.1. This...

Tribute to a Golf

Advantages: Great car, good fuel economy, well built - and extremely safe

...The world renowned Ronaldinho sports these amazing, sultry boots they are soft inside and the leather is ever so soft. The custom nike pattern gives it a fashionable design. Nike Tiempo Legend are used by 9% Premier League Players. This boot is great for soft ground and this is seen by the amount of footballers who wear it. I had these shoes last season and they are still in mint condition which show quality is a must as with most Nike products. I normally go for the coveted 3 striped but this was an eye catching yet basic design i thoroughly enjoyed putting 25 goals past the keeper last year and will certainly use these as they have fast become my favourite and luckiest boots. I advise you to purchase this as it is a bargain. You'll be mad to miss it....
