Advantages: Lightweight, Good Looking
Disadvantages: Quite thin

...I used to have a pair of these boots and they were so light i felt like i was playing in bare feet! They gave me unrivaled control power in my shots and fantastic accuracy when passing. I love the styling on these boots, i think the red goes really well with the white of the main boot. I recommend SG instead of FG because they are safer for the player. These boots are designed to make you run faster and every thing about them is focussed on this. These are the lightest boots out at the moment at this price so in my opinion i would be jumping at the chance of a pair of these fantastic football boots. Overall these boots were some of the best i have ever had the pleasure to own....

Advantages: Light, stylish
Disadvantages: not the strongest of boots, slightly uncomfortable

...these boots are aimed at the highre end of the market - they do offer slight take down versions such as the talaria, which are pretty similar and unless you are playing at a high level, dare I say you could hardly tell the difference! Comfort... I must admit I found these boots rubbed slightly against my heel but I suppose that varies from person to person and the newer version of this boot has been adapted to cope with any rubbing or blistering. Other Features? This boot does feature the snap stud system, unique to the nike boots. This means that the length of the stud, can be changed by the player with a key in a matter of seconds - ideal for different surface conditions! Disadvantages? Well the boot is not suited for really hitting the ball from a set piece - in my opinion I find it harder to strike the ball quite as well...

Nike Superfly Not So Fly

...My experience of the Nike superfly vapor has not been a very good one. The first time in eight years i do not buy football boots made out of leather was a very bad choice. The new Nike Mercurial Superfly are made with two years of developed technology. They are made from special wire called flywire which is meant to make the boots ultra strong whilst keeping them at the lowest possible weight. Flywire is also meant to be able to adjust to your own foots shape to offer more comfort. Unfortunatley I found the boots to give me huge blisters on both of my heels and also the soles of my feet. also i found that playing in cold or wet weather was no go as my feet were numb and cold as the pair of superflys that i brought were not waterproof. After playing only three games in them and £225 later they are in the bin and i am now...

...a variety of colours to suit your needs. I have the mist blue ones that go great with white socks. I also managed to get a size 6 1/2 too, which I find hard these days. But due to the variety of sizes nike produce you can pretty much get what you want. Just for your info I purchased mine from www.prodirectsoccer.com. .... however this would add weight to the boot therefore it comes down to swings and roundabouts as the saying goes. The studs underneath the boot are correctly placed unlike other nike football boots and are metal studs encased in high density plastic. Replacement studs are easily accsessible from retailers such as JJB sports and leading sports shops. In general I would say if you can try these boots before you purchase as they arent for everyone....

.... Another plus side to these boots are the attractive, colourful nature of them. These boots come in many colours, for example, white and red, black and yellow, orange and black, gold and black, blue and white etc. the options are endless. This means you can have the same kind of boots as your mates but in a different colour therefore not being labelled a copy cat. The one downside of these boots are that they are kind of narrow, therefore if you have big wide feet then these boots will probably be too tight, especially around the heel area and may cause blisters and some discomfortablility. Nevertheless if you are a keen footballer and want to look the part, then these boots aren't only fashionable but offer great comfort and great touch and control on the pitch. I highly recommend the Nike Mercurial II SG as the ultimate football boots...
