Advantages: Easy to use, most pictures come out good, value for money, look, durability, size and weight.

...My first digital camera is this, the Nikon Coolpix L10. PICTURE QUALITY Some pictures come out good, and some come out blurry. I find 72% of my pictures come out non-blurry. RANGE & QUALITY OF FEATURES You can change the colour, the white balance, if there should be a continous shot, you can also change the flash. I find the amount of features great. EASE OF USE I find this camera very easy to set up, very easy to take a photo with and it's easy all round. DURABILITY The camera doesn't get scratched easily, it can get a tiny bit smugy but that's it. No major damage for mine! OVERALL LOOK & DESIGN The camera looks so standard but it shows off its shiny silverness when you put it next to other cameras. VALUE FOR MONEY You can buy this from Amazon for £104.75. The Nikon Coolpix L14 Realy Is Cool

A super cool review of the Nikon Coolpix

Advantages: Looks good, durable and a good range of user interactive settings.
Disadvantages: Not the most vivid of colour capture and a few other problems (see review).

Last week when I was asked to test the Nikon Coolpix S560 and give my opinion on it for my camera club, I was determined to do so with an open mind because as well as thinking I can be harsh on point and shoots, I am also not Nikon`s biggest fan. The Nikon Coolpix S560 is the latest in a range of Nikon point and shoot digital cameras and a direct step up from the Coolpix S550. In my opinion this was released a bit quickly after the S550 and it makes me wonder if Nikon were ever truly happy with the 550 that they felt the need to release its successor within just a few months of it being released itself. Nikon Coolpix L5, Cool or uncool?

Advantages: 5X optical zoom and In-Camera red eye fix
Disadvantages: AA batteries, Poor sensitivity ISO 400

...The Nikon L5 is a relatively new camera and at £132.76 looks like a great bargain, in some aspects it is great, but in other performace tests it has let me down. The overall design of the L5 is great, not to big or too small, so they have got the balance just right, but unfortunately it uses 2xAA batteries and with a 2.5" screen on the back lasts for only about 50-100 shots, noty really what you want when your on holiday and wanting to snap away, putting the battery type aside and looking whats inside the camera, the quality of the components use are pretty much standard to nikon, as usual the Nikor lense. The camera boasts serveral great features which truly are fantastic. 5X optical zoom, this zoom is excellent for such a small compact digital camera, but the shutter speed is incredbibly slow and the Nikon really does lack...

Nikon Coolpix L4 - small and still nikon

Advantages: macro mode, plenty of scene mode
Disadvantages: autofocus system and LCD

...A small and sleek camera, small it may seem but still Nikon in every way. Pros : size and weight - small enough to be carried around and will make a good traveling companion, battery - good power management and with AA battery (that is sold everywhere) you will never lack of power, function - good all around camera, flash - adequate, macro mode - allows you to shoot objects as near as 4cm, great for spiders, coins and any small objects, picture quality is amazingly great for its price, cons: auto focus system - not that good, especially for macro photographing "floating" near object, e.g. spiders on cobweb, but can easily overcame. LCD - not very clear under strong sunlight overall : great camera with good price ( i bought it for Rp 1.200.000 = us$ 120), its weakness can be easily overcame with little experience...

...Nikon Coolpix S1. I bought this camera from Curries via their website for £169 back in 2006, so it is relatively old now, and in terms of the advance in cameras, is almost an antique! You can now pick one up for a lot cheaper, around £65, but I think they're being slowly phased out, so if you want one, get it quick. When I first bought it, 5.1 Megapixels was considered relatively high, whereas now, anything towards 9.1 or 10.1 megapixels is becoming the new bench level. However, unless you are a really keen photographer, you won't really notice too much difference. What attracted me to this camera was it's looks. Advantages: Very simple to use, very good, high quality print outs

...The Nikon L16 is a very nice camera. The black body makes it look so sleek. the large 2.8" screen makes it easy to view, edit and capture images with ease. the 3x optical zoom lens is also fine as it is capable of everyday pictures. I have not had a problem with his camera at all and it is a very reliable camera. also the original rechargable nikon batteries are great as they last for up to 600 shots per charge, this is great, especially when your on holiday.
