Nina Ricci Premier Jour, floral and delicious!

Advantages: Sexy smell which makes you feel a million dollars!
Disadvantages: None!

...I was first introduced to Nina Ricci's 'Premier Jour' when my brother brought home a load of testers from a local perfume shop. As many people have said who have tried this perfume you don't really know quite what to make of it when you first try it, it does take a few moments to get used to. After the initial couple of minutes where perfume always smells too strong I began to really like the scent and did more and more as the day went on. The perfume is a floral scent which for some people might be an instant 'no no' as no-one wants to smell like their grandma used to but I can assure you this just isn't the same, it is a modern fragrance. I tried to work out what the smells were as it is clearly a fab mixture but couldn't quite seperate them. Having gone on to the Nina Ricci website I have found the answer and its really obvious now...

Advantages: Excellent value for money, long lasting and beautiful fragrance
Disadvantages: There isn't a big enough bottle!

...Nina Ricci is famed for her light and refreshing fragrances, which carry their aroma right through the day without causing people to choke on what other perfumes have - an overpowering smell. An unusual fragrance from Ricci.

Advantages: After a while the lighter notes shine through.
Disadvantages: Initially it smelled musky ( on my skin )

...The Nina Ricci fashion house was founded way back in 1932 and although Nina had worked in the business for a number of years by the time her own label was launched Nina was just over fifty years old. Nina lived a long life and died in 1970 at the grand age of 87. I have just been reading a few facts about her perfumes and one of them really caught my eye, Nina has one very famous perfume called L`Air Du Temps and the glass bottle was designed by Marc Lalique. I am sure that we have all seen the Lalique glassware being shown on the antique programmes and have been astonished at how collectable their work is. Magic with Nina

Advantages: Everything a perfume should be

...Untill last year Nina Ricci was a brand name I hadn't heard of before. After opening my present and seeing the perfume I wasn't sure what to make of it. ***The Bottle*** It is incredibly small and seems very fragile. The bottle is in the shape of an apple( red in colour), with leaves at the top draping over the sides. To look at it is very pretty and girly. An essential accessory for that purposes alone. The bottle was inspired by the Fille d'Eve bottle designed in 1952 by Nina Ricci. The bottles come in three sizes 80ml 50ml 30ml The appearance, although girly, also gives an impression of sophistication. It's not something I would associate straight away with teens. sweet scent for any occasion

Disadvantages: would need to be reapplied to last from the day into the night

...for the evening, it will need to be topped up. Other than that, it lasts well throughout the day and people are always asking what it is that I am wearing! PRICE: This perfume is not too hard to track down, and can be bought for a reasonable price. It is sold in 30ml, 50ml and 80ml bottles, and expect to pay around £19, £28, & £39 for the bottles respectively. Of course, if you are at the airport anytime, pick up a bottle in duty free for a tax free price! RECOMMENDED? Definitely! If you want a sweet smelling, long lasting fragrance that not only smells great but looks good in its bottle too, then 'Nina' by Nina Ricci is the perfume for you!...

...For Christmas my sister got me a set of Nina by Nina Ricci products, including the perfume, shower gel and body lotion. I absolutely adore the scent of the perfume and have been wearing it regularly, but due to my mountain of bath products, it's only been in the last few weeks that I have had the chance to try out the matching shower gel. Nina, if you're not familiar, is a perfume by Nina Ricci, which comes in a red, apple-shaped bottle. It's an incredibly sweet and feminine scent, and I was really looking forward to trying out the matching shower gel. The shower gel comes in a white tube, which has a picture of a red apple, with shiny silver leaves, just like the perfume bottle itself. There's not a lot of information on the tube, but I wonder if that's because mine was received as part of a gift set, rather than bought...

As sweet as toffee apple

...When Nina by Nina Ricci was launched a couple of years ago, there was a lot of hype around it. I remember an advert where a woman would climb a pile of apples to get this from the top, glossy magazine ads and a huge display as you entered Debenhams. Intrigued by both the hype and the unusual bottle, I eventually got round to trying a tester, and surprisingly I loved it. I had honestly expected not to like it, as I'm quite fussy with perfumes, and very rarely find one that I like so much. I was actually planning on treating myself to this perfume just before Christmas, but then my sister offered to buy me it, so I ended up getting it as a Christmas present. They are written by Katherine Applegate, who is also the author of the animorphs books, and another series called Making Waves which is quite similar to the Making Out series.
