Advantages: Great design and good graphics

...My daughter bought one of these when they first came out in ASDA for £100.00. That was on it's own with no games or accessories, but they were new then so that wasn't too bad. You can now get bundles on amazon and ebay with various accessories and games for less than £99.00. When you buy a nintendo DS lite on their own, compared to the old DS, you can clearly see that it is lighter in weight and had a much more sleek and shiny design. It is very modern looking and is a good small size so you can put it in a glove box in the car, in your pocket or in a handbag with ease so it's easy to carry around with you. When my daughter bought hers, all she got was the DS, two of the stylus's and an instructions manual that told you how to turn the console on and off etc. The DS's do have a chat room on them, but my daughter hasn't ever been able...

...I had one of these for about a year until I sold it off for an Xbox 360 (good decision). I found the DS Lite has very good wireless play for friends in the area with one of them. The chat rooms are also quite useful if you are on a trip with several friends. As I found out, on a ski trip, I spent about 3 hours on the DS racing about 10 other people in Mario Kart; its a brilliant way to pass a journey. However, equally, it is also fun offline. Although the games don't have as good graphics as the likes of the Xbox 360 or PS3. They are still not bad and they do have the one of a kind revolutionary stlylus-touch screen system. My review of the Nintendo DS Lite

Advantages: The Nintendo DS Lite has a bright screen

...In my opinion i thought this product was very enjoyable. Unlike the original Nintendo DS, the screen is brighter, hense the name. This enables you to play it just about anywhere, not caring about the suns light reflecting of the screen. It is also very atrractive as it comes in a range of colours such as Lime Green, Pink, Red, Baby blue etc. It is of very good quality and of the highest possible standard. I often find myself induldging in the wide variety of games it has to offer, a few of my personal favourites being Cooking Mama, Super Mario Bros. and The Sims 2 Pets. My kids love their Nintendo DS Lites, and i would rate this product an 8/10. I would recommend it to people of all ages, as the wide variety of games gives choices for everyone and both genders....

...I'm a gamer, a true die hard gamer. I've played them all from the Sinclair spectrum 48K through most of the modern day consoles. However, I've always stayed clear of Nintendo as I always considered the type of games available for them as childish and basic.......oh, how wrong I was! My wife bought a pink DS lite in November 2006 - I was hooked. I had one small problem...I couldn't be seen in public playing on a pink DS. By December I had my own white DS and I love it to pieces. It's a cracking piece of kit - I love the touch screen and the different ways that software companies find uses for it. ...I recently gave in and bought myself a Nintendo DS Lite and am delighted with this product. I am not one for platform games and am using mine to excercise my brain matter and have bought both Brain Train and Scrabble. Brain Train is good but a bit limited in what you can do but the Scrabble game is excellent, I spent a nine hour flight to Orlando glued to this game. My daughter and I have both sycronised our DS lites and are both playing Battleships against each other. As I am not a computer boffin I was a bit concerned about using the DS but it is really easy and self explanatory even for me! I would highly recommend this product not only for the entertainment value but because it works the brain, I am now beating my husband at Scrabble which is an achievment in itself!...

I bought a DS Lite after playing Brain Training and Mario Bros mini games on a friend's original DS console.I much prefer the lite version because of its square shape, compactness and style. The games on DS are very innovative, making use of the stylus in every way imaginable, you will be tapping, dragging, circling, writing and scribbling all over the thing before you know it, and it's surprisingly durable; I've hit mine quite hard several times without any scratches or dents to the screen. You can also interact with voice recognition in certain games and blowing on the microphone in others. Nintendo really have thought about everything you could possibly do with a handheld on top of pushing buttons. The screens are a good size with bright colours...
