Games for the DS and also Gameboy advance games can be played on this console. Gameboy advanced games are inserted through the bottom slot on the Nintendo DS. However they do not have touch screen interactivity. ...At first when I purchased the Nintendo ds lite I must admit I think I'd made a big mistake, there wasn't a lot of games available and I knew I'd get bored of it, Recently there's being a few games out and there's an internet browser which I love as you can email friends when your on holiday if the room has a wifi connection, I also love the fact the there's lots of flash cartridges available which are rewritable and I can upload msn onto the flash card and use it like I would use it on the computer. Brilliant The Nintendo DS

Advantages: Slique, easy to use, all around beautiful
Disadvantages: Hardly any sport games

...First thing I love this console. It is slique, cool and absolutely beautiful. Compared to the normal DS lite they made it so much better and gave it a better shape. The reason I love the Nintendo DS is because it is a touch screen. This makes it very interactive, the different games that you get allow you to do different things on the touch screen. Such things like in Pokemon Ranger you can catch pokemon by drawing a circle around the pokemon. Or in Cooking mama 2: cooking with friends. You can use the stylus and touch screen to cut, grater, stir, break etc food. The amount of games you can play on this system is phenominal. Nintendo DS lite

...This was bought for my son for a birthday present last year, I paid £109 for the DS, accessory kit and the game that came with it was Cars. I was not sure if he would be impressed with it or not (as he can be hard to please sometimes, like most kids these days) but as it turned out he was over the moon and I must add so was I , as I to, enjoy playing it. Another good point is that you can play the game boy advance games on it as well, my daughter has a GBA and they sure some their games which is really handy. The nintendo ds lite is really small and easy to use, you can either use the keys at the side or you can use the stylus, either way is good, Also if you have two DS lites in the one household you can send messages from one to the other, this is also really easy to do, in the main screen menu, you will see a symbol...

...My daughter bought one of these when they first came out in ASDA for £100.00. That was on it's own with no games or accessories, but they were new then so that wasn't too bad. You can now get bundles on amazon and ebay with various accessories and games for less than £99.00. When you buy a nintendo DS lite on their own, compared to the old DS, you can clearly see that it is lighter in weight and had a much more sleek and shiny design. It is very modern looking and is a good small size so you can put it in a glove box in the car, in your pocket or in a handbag with ease so it's easy to carry around with you. When my daughter bought hers, all she got was the DS, two of the stylus's and an instructions manual that told you how to turn the console on and off etc. The DS's do have a chat room on them, but my daughter hasn't ever been able...

The Nintendo DS Lite is just right!

Advantages: Helps pass time, fun with mates, touch screen, lots of colours, lots of games
Disadvantages: Fingerprints, not the best graphics

...The Nintendo Ds Lite is a great portable games console that is available in many colours and has kept me entertained for many hours on various journeys. The Nintendo DS Lite is lighter than the original DS (well there's a surprise!) and brighter. The DS has a unique feature that does not appear on any console in the fact that the bottom screen is touch sensitive. This basically means on games you can use a stylus which gives you a unique control system for games and provides new opportunities for game creators. The DS Lite plays both Nintendo DS games which are inserted at the top and Gameboy Advance games for those who used to own a Gameboy and want to play their own games. ...Okay, so the Nintendo DS lite is an updated remake of the Nintendo DS; it definatly boosted up the popularity of this handheld console. Nintendo totally re-done the design, for the best! Instead of the bulky, heavy look the original DS had, they made the DS lite smaller and much more easier to hold. And what's more! They come in many other colours other than white such as Pink (Which I have), Black, Navy blue and some other colours. ... But that wasn't all they did to it, oh no, they done more! They done so much more that they even made the DS lite stylus taller and thicker to fit comfortably in your hand while playing games, and it most more than unlikely to fall out of it's slot and get lost; I must've lost my Original DS' stylus an extreme number of times and in the end had to buy a new one which dissapointed me. ...I recently gave in and bought myself a Nintendo DS Lite and am delighted with this product. I am not one for platform games and am using mine to excercise my brain matter and have bought both Brain Train and Scrabble. Brain Train is good but a bit limited in what you can do but the Scrabble game is excellent, I spent a nine hour flight to Orlando glued to this game. My daughter and I have both sycronised our DS lites and are both playing Battleships against each other. As I am not a computer boffin I was a bit concerned about using the DS but it is really easy and self explanatory even for me! I would highly recommend this product not only for the entertainment value but because it works the brain, I am now beating my husband at Scrabble which is an achievment in itself!...
