Nintendo DS
Advantages: Touch Screen, Affordable
Disadvantages: Bad graphics with most games
...After already owning a PSP I felt I had all the handheld gaming I needed however many of my peers owned Nintendo DS' so I thought I would buy one in conjuction with the release of Pokemon Diamond after being a big fan of the series and I liked the potential of the DS.
The main reason for the DS' success has been marketing as well as affordability and game selection.
The marketing campaign which is very popular with nintendo is connectivity which is extremely true with 98% of all DS games using connectivity around the world, with friends and even with a Nintendo Wii.
The selection of games for the DS are great for both old and young with many ideas from looking after a pet dog to testing your brain and now you can play a guitar on it. However is you are critical on graphics then the DS is not a great console for that as only one...

NINTENDO DS LITE
Advantages: I can communicate with friends when im on holiday
Disadvantages: nothing
...At first when I purchased the Nintendo ds lite I must admit I think I'd made a big mistake, there wasn't a lot of games available and I knew I'd get bored of it, Recently there's being a few games out and there's an internet browser which I love as you can email friends when your on holiday if the room has a wifi connection, I also love the fact the there's lots of flash cartridges available which are rewritable and I can upload msn onto the flash card and use it like I would use it on the computer.
The Nintendo DS Lite, is a sleeker, Nintendo DS.
The device employs innovative dual-screen and microphone-enabled gameplay as well as Wi-Fi multiplayer capabilities, allowing for a growing list of original and fun games that you can't play on any other system.
It is thinner and more attractive than the earlier DS, but it still delivers...

Nintendo Ds Lite
Advantages: -
Disadvantages: -
...The Nintendo DS 'Lite' is a great portable console that comes in a range of colours for anyone who likes games made by Nintendo and other game makers who are associate with them.
It has two screen's one touch and the other veiw only, this allows games to be more interactive and fun! The amazing thing about the Nintendo DS 'Lite' is that its lighter that the orginal (funny enough lol) this makes it more compact and easier to carry about.
Games for the DS and also Gameboy advance games can be played on this console. Gameboy advanced games are inserted through the bottom slot on the Nintendo DS. However they do not have touch screen interactivity.
Nintendo DS allows users to use a touch screen which is different to any other console on the market, this makes games more fun and interactive in some cases and is a very appealing...

Nintendo DS lite
Advantages: so easy to use
Disadvantages: none
...This was bought for my son for a birthday present last year, I paid £109 for the DS, accessory kit and the game that came with it was Cars.
I was not sure if he would be impressed with it or not (as he can be hard to please sometimes, like most kids these days) but as it turned out he was over the moon and I must add so was I , as I to, enjoy playing it.
Another good point is that you can play the game boy advance games
on it as well, my daughter has a GBA and they sure some their games
which is really handy.
The nintendo ds lite is really small and easy to use, you can either use the keys at the side or you can use the stylus, either way is good,
Also if you have two DS lites in the one household you can send messages from one to the other, this is also really easy to do, in the main screen menu, you will see a symbol...

Nintendo DS Lite
Advantages: Great gaming, light and easy to use
Disadvantages: Battery life isnt great
...Product - Nintendo DS Lite
Price - Got mine for £99 4/5
Battery quality - I find I can play for half a day without any problems 3/5
Design - Small and light 4/5
Durability - I haven't broke it yet 4/5
The Nintendo DS is the updated version of the classic GameBoy by Nintendo. While the GameBoy was huge, the DS does not seem to have the same fame due to the huge popularity of the Wii. However, for a pocket games console, I would say this is the best one on the market at the moment. The shape of the console is small enough to put in a handbag, pouch or a large pocket but big enough you wont lose it.
The top screen (within the lid) is a simple viewing screen, while the bottom screen is a touch sensitive pad allowing you to interact with the attached wand (which easily stores within the side of the console). This screen gives...

Nintendo DS lite .
Advantages: Great design and good graphics
Disadvantages: None.
...My daughter bought one of these when they first came out in ASDA for £100.00. That was on it's own with no games or accessories, but they were new then so that wasn't too bad. You can now get bundles on amazon and ebay with various accessories and games for less than £99.00.
When you buy a nintendo DS lite on their own, compared to the old DS, you can clearly see that it is lighter in weight and had a much more sleek and shiny design. It is very modern looking and is a good small size so you can put it in a glove box in the car, in your pocket or in a handbag with ease so it's easy to carry around with you. When my daughter bought hers, all she got was the DS, two of the stylus's and an instructions manual that told you how to turn the console on and off etc.
The DS's do have a chat room on them, but my daughter hasn't ever been able...

Nintendo DS Lite
Advantages: Stylus system Touch Screen Gameboy Advance Compatibility Small game cartridges wireless play
Disadvantages: graphics games are limited
...I had one of these for about a year until I sold it off for an Xbox 360 (good decision). I found the DS Lite has very good wireless play for friends in the area with one of them. The chat rooms are also quite useful if you are on a trip with several friends. As I found out, on a ski trip, I spent about 3 hours on the DS racing about 10 other people in Mario Kart; its a brilliant way to pass a journey. However, equally, it is also fun offline. Although the games don't have as good graphics as the likes of the Xbox 360 or PS3. They are still not bad and they do have the one of a kind revolutionary stlylus-touch screen system. This allows you to draw out the actions on the touch screen of the DS in certain games. More credit is put to the DS lite since it is compatible with the older gameboy advance games (quite a few consoles don't allow...

Nintendo DS Lite : 'Flipping Brilliant'
Advantages: Wide range of games, cheaper than consoles, portable and light weight.
Disadvantages: Cannot play films, store or play music on the DS unlike the Sony PSP console
...The Nintendo DS Lite is a portable gaming system with two screens that have been vertically alligned, one at the top and one at the bottom. On the bottom is a touch screen that allows you to use a stylus pen for selecting options to playing games. There's also the standard direction buttons, located to the left of the bottom screen, and standard X, Y, A, B buttons along with Start and Select Buttons- all of which are located to the right of the bottom screen,.
The Nintendo DS games come on a cartridge format and cost anything between £10-£25. The main advantage of the Nintendo DS Games over the Sony PSP games is the loading times are much quicker this is mainly because the cartridges are smaller in capacity to the UMD Discs.
The Nintendo DS has been made much smaller than the original DS, the dimensions of the new console are 0...

The Nintendo DS Lite is just right!
Advantages: Helps pass time, fun with mates, touch screen, lots of colours, lots of games
Disadvantages: Fingerprints, not the best graphics
...The Nintendo Ds Lite is a great portable games console that is available in many colours and has kept me entertained for many hours on various journeys.
The Nintendo DS Lite is lighter than the original DS (well there's a surprise!) and brighter. The DS has a unique feature that does not appear on any console in the fact that the bottom screen is touch sensitive. This basically means on games you can use a stylus which gives you a unique control system for games and provides new opportunities for game creators.
The DS Lite plays both Nintendo DS games which are inserted at the top and Gameboy Advance games for those who used to own a Gameboy and want to play their own games. This is a great feature and I wish more consoles were backwards compatible. E.g. The PS3 80gb and 160gb don`t play PS2 games.
There is a huge selection...

Nintendo DS Lite is FAB
Advantages: Small, wifi built in, everyone has one!!
Disadvantages: Graphics can be a bit commodore 64
...I'm a gamer, a true die hard gamer. I've played them all from the Sinclair spectrum 48K through most of the modern day consoles. However, I've always stayed clear of Nintendo as I always considered the type of games available for them as childish and basic.......oh, how wrong I was!
My wife bought a pink DS lite in November 2006 - I was hooked. I had one small problem...I couldn't be seen in public playing on a pink DS.
By December I had my own white DS and I love it to pieces.
It's a cracking piece of kit - I love the touch screen and the different ways that software companies find uses for it.
I admit that the graphics are not up to the likes of the PSP but what it lacks on graphics it surely makes up in good old game play - after all, that's what it's all about!
The console itself is well built and solid. I had heard...
