Nissan Skyline GT-R R32

Advantages: Performance i.e. 0-60mph in 4.9secs as standard, fun factor, tuning options
Disadvantages: Expensive to fix, mpg, interior

...My first review!... it shall be about something that gave me ALOT of pleasure and some headaches... this is my experience and not drawn from other reviews. I was lucky enough to own an olde-worldy 1992 GT-R in 2006 for 1 year. She was black, a Cat D damaged car (that had been repaired - not a very good repair). It was fairly standard (for a Skyline), apart from a 'stage 1 chip' (no proof of this), an aftermarket s/s exhaust, aftermarket airfilter, turbo-timer, grooved brake disks, 18" anthracite 7 spoke alloys (expensive). Condition wise it wasn't the best... it had been resrayed in parts but not to a very high standard. The engine (78k miles) appeared and proved itself to be reliable and strong... no strange noises, always started. Brakes were fine, very strong. Interior was good, drivers seat slightly worn. Nissan Skyline R33 GTS-T a review

Advantages: fantastic performance, very reliable, stunning timeless looks, affordable to drive.
Disadvantages: britains speed limits and jelly mould cars getting in my way!

...Well approaching 30yrs old and I decided this year was as good a year as any to have midlife crisis and finally get hold of the car I've always wanted. A Nissan Skyline. After having owned it for six months I thought I'd share my thoughts with other potential buyers of an R33 which is the most popular and more importantly affordable model with my generation so grab a coffee, sit back and see what you think. I've researched into these cars for over a year now and fell in love with them since getting my grubby mitts on one in GranTurismo on the playstation1five years ago and seeing how tuneable it was which is pretty much where everyone else in my generation first had a shot in one hehehe!. ...I bought a M Reg Nissan Skyline GT-S last year and I have to say it has been a real pleasure to own. I spotted it in the autotrader web-site, went down and met the car importer who had just rolled it off the boat from Japan, got inside and fell in love instantly. From the moment the key is in the ignition you have this lovely throaty power roar, all 230 brake horses stampeding in unison. The car is a non-turbo 2.5 litre model, rear wheel drive, with climate control, active exhaust, I thought it prudent to have it checked out by an independant engineer before parting with the cash - he marked it 9/10 so i knew i was on safe ground. I've now had it for 10,000 miles and ahem had around 140mph out of it at the top end with an around 6.2/6.5 0 to 60 i must say i have been really impressed with the car, around town it's a pussycat...

Sky high prices for the Skyline hotel

Advantages: Great location, beautiful rooms, huge beds
Disadvantages: Very expensive food and drinks, car parking was £12 a night!

...My boyfriend and I stayed at the Sheraton Skyline hotel on 2nd October this year. I booked the hotel through priceline.co.uk and got the room for £51 including taxes, which I though was quite reasonable for a 4 star hotel. Location We found the Sheraton Skyline fairly easy to find. The hotel website allows you to print off a map and this made it quite easy to find the hotel if it wasn't for my boyfriend taking a few wrong turns! The hotel is on a large road that is absolutely heaving with hotels. Literally the whole road consists of hotels, some very large and impressive ones such as the Marriott. We were flying from Heathrow airport the next day and this hotel was about a 10-minute drive to Heathrow (at the most) and was in an extremely convenient location. Nissan Micra

Advantages: The looks and the fuel type is amazing and the insurance group.
Disadvantages: Not that much safety and the comfort.

...Nissan Micra's come in a 1.0 litre hatchback they mostly come in 5 doors or 3 doors. The performance on the road is very nippy, 3/5 also the handling and the ride is quite the same. These Micra's are great insurance group is low fuel is great, on the otherhand the security isnt becuase some micras from 1994-1998 dont have any alarm or anything but ll models have plenty of airbags. The ownership is great buying and selling is easy and no hassle to sell these nippy motors are Quality & reliability many people gave the ownership a 4/5. These 1.0litre micras changed a lot from the 1900's till know there are over 100,000 micras know in the U.K. The looks of a micra is great thats what attracts people to buy these cars. 9/10 people voted that micras are good for first drivers....
