...At first when I purchased the Nintendo ds lite I must admit I think I'd made a big mistake, there wasn't a lot of games available and I knew I'd get bored of it, Recently there's being a few games out and there's an internet browser which I love as you can email friends when your on holiday if the room has a wifi connection, I also love the fact the there's lots of flash cartridges available which are rewritable and I can upload msn onto the flash card and use it like I would use it on the computer. ...This was bought for my son for a birthday present last year, I paid £109 for the DS, accessory kit and the game that came with it was Cars. I was not sure if he would be impressed with it or not (as he can be hard to please sometimes, like most kids these days) but as it turned out he was over the moon and I must add so was I , as I to, enjoy playing it. Another good point is that you can play the game boy advance games on it as well, my daughter has a GBA and they sure some their games which is really handy. Advantages: Wide range of games, cheaper than consoles, portable and light weight.
Disadvantages: Cannot play films, store or play music on the DS unlike the Sony PSP console

The Nintendo DS Lite is just right!

Advantages: Helps pass time, fun with mates, touch screen, lots of colours, lots of games
Disadvantages: Fingerprints, not the best graphics

...The Nintendo Ds Lite is a great portable games console that is available in many colours and has kept me entertained for many hours on various journeys. The Nintendo DS Lite is lighter than the original DS (well there's a surprise!) and brighter. The DS has a unique feature that does not appear on any console in the fact that the bottom screen is touch sensitive. This basically means on games you can use a stylus which gives you a unique control system for games and provides new opportunities for game creators. The DS Lite plays both Nintendo DS games which are inserted at the top and Gameboy Advance games for those who used to own a Gameboy and want to play their own games. ...Okay, so the Nintendo DS lite is an updated remake of the Nintendo DS; it definatly boosted up the popularity of this handheld console. Nintendo totally re-done the design, for the best! Instead of the bulky, heavy look the original DS had, they made the DS lite smaller and much more easier to hold. And what's more! They come in many other colours other than white such as Pink (Which I have), Black, Navy blue and some other colours. ... But that wasn't all they did to it, oh no, they done more! ...This Nintendo DS Lite was bought for my little boy by his nanny for christmas last year. My eldest had the original DS and the DS Lite in my opinion is 100% better. It's got a nice sleek design and the outer glossy shell makes it very attractive. The good thing about the DS Lite is the fact you can play the old Gameboy Advance games in it. You can usually pick these up for around £5/£6 which is alot cheaper than the price of DS Lite games, which is OK for building up your game collection. The DS Lite has many games though so your not restricted to just a few. I think the most attractive feature, which make the DS Lite so popular is the touch screen and stylus.
