...I bought Wii Fit last year and have now used it for over 400 hours so I guess you could say I have had my money's worth out of it. I do like it but it has its shortcomings not least of which is the fact that it takes a long time to work through a routine so I was pleased when I heard that Nintendo were bringing out a new versions and I wanted to see what that offered. Wii Fit Plus is intended to overcome some of the shortcomings and to allow you to plan a whole routine rather than do it piecemeal and have to wait between exercises. Advantages: Fun, fun, fun!
Disadvantages: Tiring!

...This is possibly not the right console for the 'serious' gamer. Games like Call of Duty 4, Grand Theft Auto or any other graphics based games are probably better played on the Xbox 360, or the Playstation 3. However, if you just want to have some good old fashioned fun with friends or family, then this is the one for you. I can't rate this console highly enough, I've had endless hours of fun on this machine, and I feel that for my kids, they are getting the excercise as well, that they would not be getting on the Xbox or PS3. If you decide to buy extra controllers, then the fun doubles on the likes of Wii Sports Tennis, when 4 of you are up on your feet competing against each other.
