...With eldest son working in Turkey for the summer, we decided it was time for mum to go visit and spoil his fun. So, a quick surf around the various travel agents found us a great deal, leaving at the time we wanted, going to the resort we wanted, and promising a 4 star hotel for around £200 each b and b, including airport taxes and transfer fees. So... having landed in Bodrum, paid our fees to get into the country, we had about an hour journey (100km) to Altinkum and our first sighting of The First Class Hotel. It is actually situated about 10 minutes from the main promenade, and in the area where most of the hotels are situated, with shops and bars close by. Up the steps and into the lobby which was a large area with cream suede sofas (what possessed them?). A quick look around revealed a large starcase with a dirty worn out...

Review of First Class Hotel

Two cars one seat no problem with First Class

Advantages: Tilt for comfort, five point harness with padding, easy to move between cars
Disadvantages: Large base with metal bars which may mark car furnishings

...seemed to be looming......then we tried the Britax First Class. This was not my first choice as it looks ugly in the showroom with its big metal base frame but how wrong first impressions can be!! When fitted in the older car it has an alternative route for the belt buckle, ideal for cars made before 2002! Fast and easy to fit in both cars was a relief but I was worried we were comprimising on my little girls comfort but these worries was aliviated on her first trip. The five point harness is easy to adjust (one button easiely reached) and has built in padding which cannot slide of place to stop her neck getting sore. It reclines smoothly with the touch of one handle to ensure she doesn't drop her head forward when she goes to sleep. The sides allow her to see out the windows but offer good protection. Chanel No 5 EDT - A Class of its Own But Doesn't Last

Review of Chanel No 5 Eau de Toilette

Top Class!

Advantages: cute, cuddly
Disadvantages: retired

...grubby at some point. However I strongly encourage you to not put him in the washing machine. Not only would his fur get matted but he has beans in his bum and if he were to rip somehow it could cause an awful lot of mess and damange. A simple hand scrub would be much more effective. Price: Class of 2004 is retired. This means he is no longer manufactured by TY. But never fear, you still may be able to buy him from places such as car boot sales, or auction sites like eBay. This does mean he could be expensive as some see him as an antique, but others will sell him cheaply as they can see him as old tat. I would pay around £5or £6 for him personally, unless he was one of the last few I needed, then Id pay a bit more! Class of 2004 is a gorgeous owl, one of the best TY owls, and is special to me in some ways. I am sure he will bring others joy...

...daughter has been road-testing the First Class every day for a month or so now and she loves it. She enjoys the high position, from which she can see out and look at all the sights. She is also usually asleep within ten minutes of setting out on any journey - a real testimony of the seat's comfort! Although I set out looking for a Maxi cosy seat, (which incidently, fits neither of our cars!), I am thrilled to bits with this seat and I wouldn't trade it in for love nor money! First class - it really is!

Advantages: Very comfy for newborns and toddlers.
Disadvantages: Hard to install rearward facing - but worth it!

...**Age group is birth to 3+** I got the first class when pregnant with my first baby as I have MS and didn't think I could manage with seats that you take in and out of the car. I just wanted to take the baby and leave the seat behind! You do have to have extra long seatbelts to fit the seat rearward facing and have quite a bit of room between the front seats. We had a Mondeo so it fitted with no problems at all. It is quite hard work to get strapped in correctly when it is rearward facing but then you don't have to take it out again so it's worth the effort. Due to this I gave it an easy rating for installation. It is very easy to fit forward facing. When our baby was first born she was quite tiny (6.5lb) and the newborn insert supported her very well.
