'Cell Phone's Dead' s cold electro pop, accompanies an urgent sounding and on form Beck.
With the odd sample of a boy saying "1 x 1, I'll knock you out", some great scratching from DJ Z trip, taking over from DJ Foodcourt ( Becks pseudonym) and some well placed echo effect, all these things are brought together to set the LP on it's way.
Some ramshackle yet soulful singing alongside some chaotic but more acoustic sounding...

With warmer weather on its way I thought it was probably time to drag myself out of the gutter and dust myself off. Close examination of my skin last month led me to the horrifying conclusion that at just twenty-four years of age it might be necessary to invest an anti-aging serum of some description. To be honest, if you look at my profile picture, do you suppose I look twenty-four? I'm guessing no given that most people seem to assume I'm in my late twenties (I've had "wow I thought you were thirty" before). It was equally important for me to start thinking about a skin-tautening agent as I'm finally losing the baby weight this year (yes I know he's nearly three) and having lost a stone already I don't want to wind up slim but with loose, flabby skin everywhere!

My mum wore Chanel No 5 when I was growing up so I?ve always known this scent. Mum always used the perfume and I used to be fascinated watching her dab a little bit of this grown up scent behind her ears and on her wrists.

...I finished this course last year and managed to get work within a month or so of my finals. The course is designed to be a conversion one for those of us who don't have a computer science background, but want to learn. It's not entirely IT related, as it does focus on 'Information' as well, so don't expect to be a Java expert when you finish. If you want to do a more hands-on programming course then PG Information Systems is the course for you.
The course won't teach you everything in a year, but it will give you a grounding. All of us have managed to get jobs from the 18 of us on the course last year in various guises: web design, IT training, lecturing.
There are good and bad parts to it, which is always a matter of preference. If you want a change of career, and more importantly to get funding for it, then do an IT...

...Chanel No. 5 will always remain a controversial perfume. Although used and praised for decades it's still a love or hate fragrance. I think it's because of aldehydes, the most important constituents of this fragrance. They possess a waxy, fatty smell that often makes think on washed and dried clothe. Aldehydes are found in nature (for example in a citrus peel), but never in amounts used in Chanel No. 5. That makes this smell a bit unnatural from one side, but it also gives an interesting exotic twist.
In my opinion EDP is much softer than EDT version - the aldehydes are less sharp and the floral bouquet is more prominent. On my skin it starts with a fresh citrus note that slightly fades into a floral hart of orange blossom, rose and jasmine. An ultimate feminine bouquet, but modernized with waxy sharpness of the aldehydes...

...How do you write a useful opinion on a perfume for someone who?s never smelt it? The answer is you probably can?t, but I?ll try anyhow.
Firstly and most important, if you?ve never tried Chanel No5, DO NOT BUY IT UNTIL YOU?VE TESTED IT. This may seem a bit pedantic but I?m only telling you so you don?t waste your money buying a perfume which, when worn, may not suit you. I love the smell of Coco in the bottle, but whenever I try to wear it, it smells like cat pee. That?s the thing with perfumes. They really do smell different on different people.
Now, why should you buy, or even test No5? Because it?s classy. It has no specific age range (i.e. it?s not old woman?s perfume. You know which I mean.). I?ve worn No5 since my first decent wage and I?ll go on wearing it ?til my pension won?t stretch to it. Though if it?s a choice between...
