...Hmmmmmm, not quite sure on how to do this but I would just like to write a review on using your local library services. I was a little surprised as to the area that it was in, but hey ho that is Ciao for you as they put it there supposedly! But anyway, back to the subject in mind. How do I use the library service? Well, you have to actually be a member in order to use pretty much any of the facilities that are on offer. It is usually free to join, but there are usually stipulations that you must agree to meet prior to joining: 1. That you are a permanent resident in the area that provides the service. If you live in Devon or Cornwall, then you can't use the service in Avon or Somerset. Laundry Service - Easily Shakira's best album to date

Advantages: Fantastic album
Disadvantages: Need to brush up on your Spanish

...It is an unfortunate fact of life for the many thousands of talented latin musicians that, if you want to make it on a worldwide scale, you have to learn to sing in English. This was powerfully illustrated in the late 1990s by Ricky Martin, and in 2001 when Shakira's third studio album - but only her first in the English language - expanded her appeal from the confines of the Spanish-speaking world and sent her global. Of course the fact that the album's signature track, Whenever, Wherever, is a catchy-enough song - coupled with the fact that Shakira herself is a multi-talented mega-babe, did her progression no harm at all. The album itself is an appealing mix of traditional latin beats, pop and ballads, with a number of tracks still sung in her native tongue - but not enough to make the album unlistenable to the monolingual masses...

The immortal words in any musicians life which are an attempt to make a bit more cash, sound a bit different and not really make that much of an impact of the music industry (with the odd exception thrown in for good measure). Well here?s one that will make you take note; The Postal Service, and their one and only album; ?Give Up?. Released in 2003, the band was an idea created by Ben Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie and producer Jimmy Tamborello. Anyone familiar with Death Cab For Cutie will know their electronic indie pop and The Postal Service take this to, in my opinion, a better level. The Book With No Plot

Disadvantages: Not terribly cohesive, too many characters and sub-plots.

...This was a very strange book and one that I picked up as I was intrigued by the title and the fact that the author was Anonymous. According to the blurb on the back of the book this was originally self-published on the internet. The plot centres around (unsurprisingly) "The Book With No Name" - a book which if read leads to the death of the reader. I thought this sounded quite interesting but the mysterious book is not as central as you would assume from the premise. The other main plot focus is on the retrieval of a precious stone known as "The Eye of the Moon". This stone is rumoured to have magical powers and is guarded by a group of monks known as Hubals who live on an island. very rude customer service at cleckheaton store

Advantages: no advantages of tesco customer service at cleckheaton and batley branch
Disadvantages: many people are wanting employment and tesco staff should be made to be polite

...in literally set on fire fortunately i was in the kitchen and was able to unplug straight away. i took the toaster back to cleckheaton store only to be told i had to take it back to batley i was told in no uncertain terms they were not prepared to help me and not in so many words but basically to get lost and stop bothering them. i took the toaster to batley store and they just told me to get the same toaster in replacement (no apology for having to go out of my way to return it. 3rd time today i waited at customer services to have a private word i let 4 people go infront of me who only had 1 item to purchase only to be met with from your staff i hope your not trying to jump the que (she obviously needs glasses and could do to wash her hair more often) i purchsed a kungfoo panda for my child at batley store for 18.50 when i arrived home...

No, no, NO Virginia!

Advantages: There really are a couple of stunning tracks and it is essentially the same Dolls sound
Disadvantages: You get the impression that many of the tracks are recycled versions of better songs...

...The Dresden Dolls are one of those amazing bands that are hard to categorize; not in the case of HIM where I lazily describe their genre as 'gothic' for the sake of it. The band from Boston, Ma are a bit different to all of that and instead of being gothic, the Dresden Dolls created their own genre for themselves, namely Brechtian punk cabaret. No idea what it means but it looks good on a computer screen! Technically, lead singer, pianist and songwriter Amanda Palmer and drummer Brian Viglione aren't together as the Dresden Dolls anymore. Well at least for the moment. If for example you know of a company/business locally that is using an expensive number you can suggest the alternative landline. *~*~*CONTROVERSY*~*~* Some may argue that charities and companies make a nice bit of money out of using these numbers, which is fine. I have no problem with helping charities, however these huge companies or government funded initiatives should not be charging the customer for a service. NHS direct for example is an 0845 number and there is an alternative to this. For people who do struggle to pay bills every month, or for those of you who do like to complain this site is a treasure. *~*~*SUMMARY*~*~* Obviously as with all telephone providers the costs will differ as will your need for this website. Laundry Service Leaves Latin-Pop Smelling Of Roses

...albums which makes her very difficult to pigeon hole. Shakira's roots are certainly Colombian, but she grew up listening to rock bands like Nirvana, Led Zeppelin and The Cure and through having a father with Lebanese roots she also picked up a taste for Arabic musical culture and the fusion of all these elements and more can be easily seen within her music. It is perhaps this cultural fusion which I love so much, as her albums are always very varied in style, Laundry Service itself being no different with bluesy tracks, mixing it with Latin rump-shakers, a little country, mournful or just plain balls-out electric guitars, Andes pan pipes and even an Arabic belly dancing track and many more all making their way onto this album and all the while Shakira's sumptuous vocals and disjoint poetic lyricism running throughout.
