Make time for this book!

Advantages: I couldn't put it down.

...I love it when I find a book that demands that I finish it, even when it is 1am in the morning and I have a sneaking suspicion that I will be woken by six, this is definately a book like that. "No time for goodbye" is the story of Cynthia Bigge who, aged 15 in 1983 wakes up in the morning to find her whole family gone without a trace and for seemingly no good reason. Twenty five years later and with a family of her own she is still haunted by what happened and the pieces of the puzzle are about to be revealed. I won't ruin the book for anyone by revealing the twists that the plot take, as following them and wondering what is going on is part of the pleasure of reading this book. Cleverly, however, the narrator is Terry, Cynthia's husband rather than Cynthia who is the main character of the book. This allows Cynthia to be viewed...

...A friend of mine lent me his book after she saw me reading other thrillers & I loved it. I just could not put this book down, think I sent my other half mad as I always had my head in this book. Its excellent, I was gripped from the start and all the way through to the end. This is the first book review i've ever done. Im not a massive reader but have recently started reading a few thrillers here & there, I only read 'No Time for Goodbye' as it was given to me by a friend who had read it & loved it. I'd never heard of Linwood Barclay but just a few pages in I knew I was going to enjoy this book. I was kept guessing until the very end about the twist and looked forward to getting home each night so I could find out what was going to happen next. I def recommend you read it for yourself and see what you think - if you like twists...

Shoot - No Time For A Story!

Advantages: Smooth FPS action, fairly comprehensive setups, mapmaker

...*A review that focuses primarily on the single-player experience of TimeSplitters.* From a developer consisting of employees who had worked on the quality N64 FPS titles Goldeneye 007 and Perfect Dark comes a fairly comprehensive game of the same genre for the PS2. 'Arcade' mode offers 4-player split-screen action with up to ten bots over numerous levels and scenarios. Though there's no Moonraker, the Mapmaker should no doubt satisfy some! Despite there being a 'Story' mode, the only semblance of a story is that on the back of the case, so there's no sequences in-game as such. The missions in this mode play out like a game of 'Capture the bag' so it's as straightforward as A to B - that is, bring Artefact to Base where, as soon as the artefact is captured, the evil TimeSplitters race appear, meaning the route to base won't be enemy...

Terrible phone - broken in no time!

...Terrible! This phone doesnt last long at all. I have had it 8 months and had to replace the button pad 3 times. They continuously crack and stop working. The whole phone is useless now as all the buttons have ceased to work. Seriously shoddy, dont waste your money on it. Sony know about these faults but still seel the handset! It does play music yeah, and thats good, but everything else is poor. The camera is not great, the memory cards are a nightmare to get in and out and they often need readjusting too as they stop working!!! I cant think of any reason to tell anyone to buy this handset, there are so many better ones out there. Avoid it like the plague!!...

...I am 55 years of age. Female with dry skin and always on the lookout for new reasonably priced facial treatments. Having tried out many over the years i decided to have a go at this day and night cream. Not happy with it at all. My face is continually dry and taut after use. I had already tried the new miracle serum that they brought out two years ago and didn't like that either. I really don't know what all the hype on that was about. The day /night cream is very greasy on applying and tends to run into your eyes as the day wears on even although no application has been placed near the eye area. After an hour or two the skin feels very dry and tight.. It is well over priced and i for one will not be buying any other boots no 7 facial product............

Boots No. 7 Time Resisting Day Cream

Advantages: it does moisturise and makes face feel velvety and smooth
Disadvantages: face feels a bit dry after an hour or so

...As a regular user of the Time Resisting Night Cream and Day & Night Eye Care which are both excellent, I decided to buy the Time Resisting Day Cream. I found that it is rich and non-greasy to apply, and leaves my face feeling soft and velvety all day. However, my face does become a bit dry and taught after a few hours and I feel like I need to put some more cream on. I sometimes use a moisturiser alone during the day and the slight dryness is the only downside, but I think with regular use it is making my skin look and feel better, more "nourished"!. I would say it's definitely worth a try. The more I'm using it, the softer my skin feels so I do feel it is making some improvement. I paid £15.75 for it and have only used it for a week but I do feel it makes facial lines smoother and it must be doing a fairly good job of moisturing....

Chanel No. 5 - eternal Femininity.

Advantages: sensual and feminine floral hart, good staying powder
Disadvantages: aldehydes - not everyone is used to this smell; can be found old-fashioned

.... The drydown is powdery and very soft, that makes No.5 a little bit an old-fashioned fragrance. Although I do wear fragrances for men and women, I wouldn't wear No.5 myself. It's too feminine and sensual for a male skin. But this perfume can drive me crazy when I smell it from a woman, especially during a closer contact, like a dance... You might not like this for the first time if you are not used to aldehydes. It might take time until you learn to smell through them and discover the floral beauty of this fragrance. It's not a good blind buy or a gift to someone you don't know well....
