Useful Security Software:
I would recommend a good Firewall such as McAfee, which is a good deterrent against port attacks and most kinds of back door/orifice hacking. Another good programme is NOBO, which instantly flags up when a hacker scans your PC; this locks the port they are seeking to access. There are many good programmes available but the mentioned software is an affordable budget option.
