...About every 6-9 months, we need to buy new shoes, and what better place to do just that then Clarks, one of the UK's top shoe shops. THE WINDOWS I've seen many Clarks stores are very basic when it comes to windows, this Clarks had a few shoes on display, nothing else. Not drawing me in. SHOPABILITY There's a range of shoes in Clarks, adult shoes, trainers, school shoes and shoes for babies and toddlers. You could clearly see all the shoes being displayed, but I found everything tightly packed and there were very few different types of shoes in each selection. (e.g. one or two "Bootleg" and one or two "YoToy" under trainers) WAS I BEING SERVED? There were two people in the shop who could serve you, and they were helpful, there was one who was on the till, and one helping people try on their shoes, and also working...

...I went to Arnold Clark to buy my first car and was very pleased with the service i recieved from the sales staff, i spoke to 4 different people and all were helpfull and friendly. I signed up for a used 55 reg Ford Focus, which i recieved a great deal including 6% finance including 12 months warrenty, 6months MOT and 12 months autocare mechanical warrenty (which i later found out i was paying for and they weren't free as i was lead to believe) I picked the car up on tuesday and drove it home and then found that the bonnet would not open, I phoned them up and was told i wouldn't be able to take it back until Saturday, my dad then phoned and i was told to take it back immediatley. ...My Husband purchased a Vauxhall Omega in June 2005 from Arnold Clarks Newcastle Stoke-on-Trent, After 16 days my husband had to take the car back as the engine management light had come on, they had the car for 1 week, and told us that it was now fine. It was fine until February 2006 when again the engine management light came on and the car (It is Auto) went into what they call get you home mode, whereby the gearbox sticks in high gear meaning the car has to be driven manually. It was taken to a Vauxhall garage of Arnold Clarks, and was there for 3 days. We were told that they had changed the Cam Belt and Water Pump, Why we do not know as it had nothing what so ever to do with the problem. The problem had not been resolved at all. Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54

Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead
Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.

Unable to afford a Blu-Ray player my sister and I bought the Panasonic DVD-S54 to match our parents brand new Panasonic TX-32LZD80 LCD television as their Christmas 2008 present. Admittedly it was a slightly selfish purchase as we both live at home and wanted to watch DVDs on the big new TV ourselves! We bought the player from the electrical retailer Comet for about £100 just before Christmas so there were no discounts applied. My experiences are listed below in chronological order: 1) I was told during a test drive that the car had one previous owner. Once purchased and upon delivery of the log-book from DVLA, I discovered I was the sixth owner of the vehicle. Clarks Village - My favourite place to shop

Advantages: Lots of cheap designer shops
Disadvantages: Parking & runs out of popular sizes quick

...When I was a kid me and my mum headed to Clarks Village in Street Somerset a few times and back then Clarks Village was not that big and didn't have very many good shops but recently a friend mentioned that he went and recommended that we take a look, so one Saturday we took a trip there and was amazed at what we saw. I would say that it had at least tripled in size since I was last there and the quality of the shops was also a massive improvement. There are many more designer shops now and they all sell clothes, shoes, tools, furniture and more at knockdown prices, if your looking for a bargain then its def a place to consider visiting. There are about 90 shops to look around and consists of shops like Addidas, Bench, Billabong, Calvin Klein, Fat Face, Henri Lloyd, Next Clearance, Timberland and the list goes on.
