Nokia 1200- A Great Standby phone

...In my opinion the Nokia 1200 is the best black and white phone in the current market. It is a very user friendly phone and is available at a very cheap rate too. The cheapest among nokia models. It has a simple but compact body panel and with looks that are in the league of other basic models. The phone is however more of functionality than appearance. Very simple and cool cellphone 1200 nokia

...This is a totally simple cellphone. This doesn't have much complicated functions, this is very but really VERY easy to use. The signal quality is great, you can talk anywhere without any barriers. Also this cellphone is nice and small. The LCD is only in 1 colour or 2 colours let's say, it's totally enough to write sms and phone who you want. That is what a cellphone has to do. The keypad is like flat. Menu is, as at most Nokias Messages, Contacts, Call register, Settings, an added function from 1112 we have alarm clock here, reminders, games, and the games menu is of course new again, you have here rapid roll, the normal and standard snake xenzia and soccer league and extras what is improved from 1112 with calendar and FLASHLIGHT what is a really cool function when you are in dark and you need a flashlight to find something...

It was a clear choice over the iPhone because of the price, also you do not have to buy the phone AND pay a monthly contract fee with the N97. At the time the phone was only available on the Vodafone and Orange networks, but I believe that you can get it on most major networks now. Nokias most recent attack on i-phone succes or failure

...as a owner and user of the nokia n97 i can say i am overall very happy with the improvements that nokia have made on previous models i.e N96 and N95. Lets face it all of us who went from owning an N95 to what nokia seem to believe was a better model (N96) were extremely dissapointed as although looking good on paper the N96 failed to meet the standards of its pre- deccesor but i am glad to say nokia have redeemed themselves on the launch of the N97. There have been many improvements made on previous models i.e the processor is alot faster and the slow transitions between menus has been completely iradicated due to the massive 32Gb memory which can still be increased to a huge 48GB by the handy memory slot tucked away under the rear cover of the phone. Another improvement on previous models is the slider mechanism after a few minor issues...

The iphone's competition, Nokia 5800!!

Advantages: Full bluetooth, great sound, wifi, 8 gig storage (expandable) Touch Screen and great screen size.
Disadvantages: Touch screen responsiveness is a bit tedious.

The nokia 5800 is Nokia's first venture into the touch screen world and they have released it as the dangerous opponent to the Iphone.
