...I got my first mobile 3 and a half years ago, and although I now use an Ericsson T28, my Nokia 3110 still has its uses and will always remain a high quality phone. I got as part of a free package from a newspaper ad, its old now but is still fully functional and the battery is still working fine. If you didn't know, it was one of the first digital handsets avaiable commerically in the UK and, in my opinion, is still one of the best around. I find that my Nokia 3110 can get the best signal out of all the phones I have tried and has some of the best features a phone needs. Its SMS facilities are excellent, much better than they are now. The best feature is the size of its screen, its one of the biggest and clearest I have seen. My opinion is that if you ever see one for sale at a good price (around £20) buy it. ...I have kept with nokia’s since the 2110, I have also had a 3110, 5110 and now a 3210, and although this is a newer phone than all the rest, I think this phone is just the best nokia available even compared to the 8210 & 7110, this phone let’s customise ring tone’s, front and back Xpress-on® Covers, which neither of the above phone’s let you do, this is all great but it is extremely over priced, the cheapest I have seen it is 75.99 on one2one pay as you go (I know you can get it free on contract).... ...I bought my Nokia 3210 six months ago when I needed to replace my old faithful Nokia 3110 which had finally died after 3 years heavy use. Instead of telling you about all the features of the phone, such as how many ringing tones, how many games, its weight, its settings, etc. which have been elaborated on in great detail in the many other Opinions on this phone, I'd rather just tell you why I bought it and how it has lived up to my expectations. so far. 1) Being on contract with BT Cellnet, I was able to upgrade my Nokia 3110 to the 3210 free of charge - that's a good enough selling point in itself but still its only point 1. ...I aquired my 3210 on a free package, upgrading from the somewhat more cumbersome 3110. Unfortunately, by virtue of the way I get my phones (always go for the cheapest!) it has already been superceded by the smaller lighter Nokias. However, it uses the same software manipulation as all other Nokias which made transition from the old phone easy, and the lighter build and 'no-aerial' design were sufficient to impress me that this was the phone for me. Unfortunately, Nokia cash in on the craze for hands-free kits, car-chargers etc, by ensuring that none of these are compatible with upgraded models. Ericsson on the other hand do not do this and all in-car merchandise is (apparently) backwards and forwards compatible. I would have liked to see a less cumbersome belt-clip arrangement for this phone, to reduce the bulkiness that the leather... Read review

...Bought this phone 8 months ago from carphone warehouse...after looking round for a month...I have had Nokias in the past and have liked their simplicity, general durability and good features. This was my first phone with bluetooth so was very excited by the prospect of exchanging files with my friends. And the relationship got off to a good start. With sudoku, snake 3 and Soccer 3D...this phone kept me occupied for those times wer u have f**k all 2 do. Although a candy bar...stereotypically not good looking...this was a fit phone...a glossy black caught the light really well. For the cheap price of £60 i thought i'd found a bargain and with my orange tariff i was also able to download music onto this phone. ...I have used the vodafone network for the past six years and in all that time I have never had any real problems with the system, other than areas of the country which are unable to recieve a signal. (These are becoming fewer and fewer). I have a contract which I pay monthly, included in this is fifty free minutes of air time, per mounth. I rarely exceed this. My phone is used for pleasure only and in emergencies. I suit me, as I do not have the inconvience of buying topup cards inorder to use my phone. The free calls also include the the voice mail service. I have had both analogical and digital phones. I was thinking of a wap phone, but have been told they are being superceeded. I think that I will wait until my nokia 3110 breaks before I replace it. The way technology is progressing the new phone may include my pc, home phone... Read review

Advantages: Vibration Alert, Voice Dialling, Small Size, Long Battery Life, 7 Own Tones.
Disadvantages: It can't do study for exams! (really, I don't think this phone has any disadvantages!)

...I'm the kind of person that changes his phone almosts as much as he changes his clothes (well not quite!), so i was instantly attracted to the Nokia 3310. I have previously had other nokia phones (first the 5110 and later the 3210), so the now "traditional" nokia features of being easy to use, attractive looking and X-Press-on Covers and ability to get different operator logos were already clear to me. But what I was more interested where the new features, and the 3110 has many of these!! This phone has voice dialling (very handy - and something to impress your friends!!!), vibration alert ( I will never again be able to buy a phone that doesn't have this feature), a chat funtion - believe it is similar to texting, but i haven't used to yet as none of my friends have bought the fone yet :( . ...All my opions will be in relation to the phones I have owned past and present: Pioneer PCC-740, Motorola mr1, Motorola 8700, Motorola Startac 1 (4 of them), Nokia 6210, Nokia 6250, Nokia 3110, Ericsson GF788, Motorola Startac V, Nokia 8210, Ericsson T28 World. I got the Samsung because of the included handsfree kit which had voice recognition.
