Nokia 6230i
Advantages: Small, light, robust
Disadvantages: An olde model, hard to get hold of
...Nokia 6230i Silver Grey
I had one of these as my last phone which I have just replaced with a newer more updated model of Nokia.
Throughout the time I had my 6230i I loved it, it was reliable, durable and I never had a single problem with it for well over a year. I dropped it millions of times and still it never broke apart from the case scratching.
It was easy to use and understand and had lots of features and settings that I found useful and fun which made me definitely want another Nokia after this model
About the 6230i Features
It has lots of different features including
*1.3 mega-pixel camera with 3 x digital zoom, I found this camera brilliant for a phone camera and took many pictures with it, it had a night mode which helped make pictures a better quality in the dark all those these weren't brilliant...

The Excellent NOKIA 6230i
Advantages: Sturdy & Reliable Nokia, Good Camera, Memory Card, Bluetooth, IR, MP3, FM Radio
Disadvantages: None yet
...I chose this phone over the Moto V3 Razr and the Samsung D500, both of which had appealed to me for their features and swish, good looking designs - and it's the best decision I've made in a long time! I got this phone free on my monthly contract, but I believe it can cost in the region of £200 on Pay as You Go.
Let's get one thing straight before we start; this phone is not swish and doesn't look sexy! It isn't the height of Fashion, it doesn't slide or flip and it won't make you tea in the morning, BUT it has solid business functionality and some impressively sexy features.
So having told you what this isn't, let's have a look at what this phone is! This is the 2005 upgrade to the Nokia 6230, but it may as well be a completely new model!
Weighing in at 99g, this Triband Nokia has a sturdy, comfortable feel and fits nicely...

Nokia 6230i
Advantages: Great
Disadvantages: None
...The Nokia 6230i is an awesome mobile phone. It has excellent capabilities and can meet everybody's needs. As I own one of these phones I find that they are excellent and can do pretty much anything that I want it to.
The phone has the standard things such as messaging and other things such as push to talk, push to talk is a like using walkie talkies and can be used anywhere. These are the things that are accessible on the phone and some of its features:
1.3 megapixel camera also shoots video clips
High quality video streaming with sound
32 MB internal memory and support for MMC cards up to 512 MB - use the phone as a digital storage device
Active TFT display and new animated 3D menu graphics
Push to talk over cellular
Easy local and remote synchronization
Flexible connectivity...

Advantages: great phone for everu one
Disadvantages: none
...Nokia 6230i review
I am going to tell you every thing I can about this phone????..
Well this phone is good for work and for your all your use. This phone will have most things that you wont and nearly every thing you wont. Well it might not have all the top of the range stuff in the phone but it is a good little phone. I am going to try and include most things about this phone. And hope it will get a good rate. Well here we go??
Well ok lets start when you switch this phone on. It will come up Nokia and then the o hands and then after that it will say 02 welcome. And then just come up to your screen. With what ever wallpaper you have on it and then on the right hand side you will have the battery bar and that will tell you how much battery you have left. And then on the right you will have the single this will tell you how much...

Nokia's R D Best ! (Fone Spk!) - 6230i (UPDATED)
Advantages: Light enough to not think you have got a brick in your pocket
Disadvantages: Camera could be better quality, but why upgrades where invented
...I am personally a very big fan of Nokia phones, and since ownership have one have not been tempted to steer away to another mobile manufacturer ... mobile provider .. yes ... mobile manufacturer ... most definitely not !
I have found other manufactuers phones to be difficult to naviagte around and much less user friendly than Nokia, and for those simple reasons, along with the fact I am quite simply well versed with the set up of Nokia's now, I wouldn't intend on swapping.
The 6230i (I think mine is the "i", but then I never ever remember my model number ... I just look for some clued up nanobot to tell / remind me or look for the picture that matches and hey presto). I suppose this latter fact may have some bearing on just how useful this review proves, particularly if you are trying to opt between a 6230 and a 6230i, so...

Nokias PERFECTION the 6230i
Advantages: ~Amazing appearance - has EVERY FUNCTION you could want + ITS CHEAP
Disadvantages: its just too good (i.e. NONE!)
...This phone is brilliant.
It has an amazing design,
Has all the necessary features
Is not massively over priced
Remains good quality even after time
Takes memory cards
Plays videos and has bluetooth
I have successfully download and watche several films on my nokia 6230i, the quality is not amazing but is satisfactory (3gp videos are very small in size so an entire film would easily fit a 128mb MMC memory card)
I read someone called it ugly, that comment disgusts me, i find this the most attractive phone there is yet. The buttons and ergonomics of this phone is perfect, the buttons stand out and are comfertable, easy to speed type when text messaging.
This phone has a music player, so plays MP3 tracks perfectly (with the memory card option you can have loads of tracks! (MMC only)
The gaming capabilities are fantastic, Java...

6230i the little cracker from Nokia
Advantages: One of the best phones around at the moment
Disadvantages: Fiddly keys for big fingers
...'d decided on the Nokia 6230i. When the phone arrived the first thing to hit me was how small and light the phone was. Now that to me is a deffinate plus. The last thing you need is a phone that is bulky and heavy.
Assenbly of the phone was easy, you just have a battery and a sim card and a cover to put in. trust me if I can do it anyone can!
Nokia have jazzed it up a bit with a silver front and new design keys (the old one was all black). Another thing I like about this phone is they have moved the wap enable button (it was tooo close to the exit key on the old one!)
So we have some plus points, the lightweight phone, the small design, the modified keypad. So lets go into the phones toys.
You have the address book which allows you to save you contacts phone numbers. Wow I hear your say? but the nifty thing is it allows you to link all...

Nokia 6230
Advantages: Light, easy to use, holdand navigate, good quality camera
Disadvantages: Short video clips and unfortunatly mines broken!
...Firstly i must admit that the only reason why i now own this phone is due to it being the only free phone available on the contract i wanted and im abit of a tight arse!!!! (However, can be bought on pay as you go but prices depends purely on which network chosen or which store you buy from)
Confession over and now to the important stuff...
As a Nokia fan myself i was impressed to find that the 6230 was no exception to Nokia's reputation of providing easy to use, good quality phones. With the aide of a single large navigation button, the main menu is fool proof to use and with the added bonus of a colour screen the icons are obvious and clear. Included in the main menu are the following features and a brief description of what each section entails:-
*Messages - Many sub menus which enables fast and easy access to whatever you...

Nokia 6230i - A Fab New Toy
Advantages: New for 2005 packed with new gadgets and the memory to support it
Disadvantages: Fiddly to use the keypad, expensive if it's not a free upgrade
...able to flip the phone shut so I don't call my parents inadvertently from my bag convincing my mother she is witnessing my murder over the phone.
So when the Nokia 6230i arrived I was a little disappointed to find it bigger than my previous Samsung, and no flip lid so I toyed with the idea of giving it to 'him indoors' and holding onto my old one. But it only weighs 99g and when I turned it on I started appreciating all the upgrades and advances. Now, I'm probably only ever going to use about 1/8 of this phones gadgets and subsections, so if you're expecting a 100% run down and regurgitation of the phone's handbook you're going to be disappointed and probably grade me as 'somewhat helpful but marks off for not being very thorough'. For a techie / anorak's view, please stop reading now and read the other reviews. For a 'user friendly...

One of Nokia's best phones....6230i
Advantages: Upgraded screen, new animated menu, FM radio, Works in USA
Disadvantages: Most features are just upgraded from 6230
...Firstly, the new nokia 6230i is a lot like the classic nokia 6230 but like people say, it doesn't matter how you look on the outside, its the inside that counts, and this goes for the nokia 6230i.
The only change made to the front of the phone is the new OK/Enter button, which makes the phone a look a lot better and classier. A memory card slot has also been added which gives a huge boost to the memory capacity, but unlike usual phones the memory card goes inside the phone under the battery. In addition the phone comes with a 32mb memory card which is great.
However the most dramatic change from the 6230 is the new 1.3 megapixel camera which not only takes brilliant quality photos but can record video clips with brilliant quality.
The screen has been vastly upgrated and is better for the eye, a lot clearer and brighter. Also...
