A basic easy to use mobile phone.
Advantages: Battery life, charge time, ease of use.
Disadvantages: Phone switiching off, limited features
...In my opinion this phone is quite attractive, and small enough to easily to fit in a pocket. It has a slide mechanism which reveals the keypad underneath. I have found the main menu is easy enough to navigate around, with all the normal Nokia icons, you can't go far wrong.
I have a black version with a blue square around the main button, personally I was a little disappointed in this particular colour scheme as there are a variety of different versions on the market, eg, black with electric pink.
The phone has good reception, however I wish that the microsphone/ loudspeaker was a bit better, as I personally find if I put a caller on loudspeaker, they comment that I sound like I am underwater, or very distant, although I am almost shouting at the caller to be heard. The phone I have came with a hands free kit, which works well, but...

Nokia 7610 supernova.
Advantages: Very stylish
Disadvantages: hard to read in bright sunlight.
...I recently upgraded my phone as my old one was going on the blink all the time. I went into the 02 shop and decided on this model as it looked like a stylish phone.
When you slide the phone down it fades and becomes a mirrored surface. It has a built in radio, and it has the familiar nokia menu display. The main criticism is that it can be hard to hear the caller speaking, it has voice dialling, and an MP3 player, and it comes with a usb lead that plugs into the phone so you can easily transfer music, video and photo files. The camera is 3.2 megapixels and takes very good pictures, as yet I haven't taken any videos so I can't comment on the quality, it also has a fm radio, which the headphones come. This is one criticism I have of all nokia phones with radio, you have to the headphones plugged in for the radio to work, yet you can...

Apple iPhone: The Future of mobile phones?
Advantages: great look, easy to use interface, many useful aplications... and so much more
Disadvantages: Bluetooth technology is limited, internet access is slow
...way to access the internet. However, the phone which is currnetly only on O2 at the moment shows that apple really have what it takes to dominate the mobile phone market.
I urge you all to gt an iphone, they are so easy to use, they look great, and a team of well educated staff are always there in apple shops to help you if you have any problems.
another minor detail about this phone which puts me off, is that you cannot transfer data between phones via bluetooth, obviously this is to prevent pirate songs being sent across apples interface, but it would be nice to be able to send photos to a friend via bluetooth instead of using the internet.
the camera is two mgapixel which is fine for a phone and can comfortably take good quality photos with it.
Also, the voicemail function is a brilliant idea that apple have enhanced their moble...

A simple guide to a Nokia mobile phone
Advantages: Looks, weight, simple to operate, sound quality
Disadvantages: On Off switch, clunky software
...I have kind of steered clear of Nokia products after my partner?s Nokia phone stopped working one day before the warranty expired & when she contacted them two days later they didn?t want to know. Even the guys at Virgin Mobile tried to persuade them to help but no they weren?t interested.
So why am I reviewing a Nokia phone & won?t it be rubbish as revenge to the companies lack of help in the past. Well no, this review is based on a Nokia phone supplied by my ex employer & the review will not be influenced by previous experiences.
The Nokia 6300 mobile phone is rather lightweight & small mobile phone, no fancy flip up or slider action screens here, just a straight forward ?candy bar? style phone. If feels good in your hands, slide it into your top shirt pocket & you would never know its there.
It has a brushed aluminum style...

iPhone: Apple's debut into the the mobile world
Advantages: Sleek, Touch-pad, WiFi, EDGE, Email, Youtube, Safari, iPod
Disadvantages: Lacks practical features
...Apple makes an entry into the world of mobile phones with the release of the iPhone, a cutting-edge piece of technology aimed at revolutionising the cellphone industry. I recently bagged an iPhone and a fair share of delights and disappointments along with it.
The Good:
-Amazing, state-of-the-art touch pad system that facilitates much accuracy, innovative commands (eg, zoom by pinching and stretching) and multi-touch recognition by simply using one's fingers
-2MP Camera: although only 2megapixels, the camera is of very high quality
-WiFi, Edge, Bluetooth, SSH support
-Built-in, high quality Internet Browser (Safari), Youtube Application and Email Application
-Google Map Application, capable of "emulating" a GPS-like system
-iPOD integrated into phone, iTunes support, Standard Audio Format support
-POTENTIAL: The integrated OS...

Nokia N95 Mobile Phone
Advantages: easy to use, long battery life, large screen, excellant connectivity very robust
Disadvantages: software glitches, size and weight.
...I have owned the n95 for over 1.5 years now, when i first received it there was some glitches with software etc but all where fixed quickly and with as little hassle as possible. in a day in age when mobile are getting smaller the nokia n95 may way your pocket down slightly But it is sturdy robust and lots of fun. the games available for the handset are great and the connectivity is fantastic, for a large phone the memory is quite small but can be expanded to 8 gig with a very cheap memory card which comes in handy. I use my phone daily at work as plumber meaning i need a phone which is robust and durable, the n95 surpasses my expectations easily, mine has been dropped so many times i cant believe its still going strong, i even dropped it into a newly fitted toilet b4 and only had to dry it out before switching it back on. it includes...

Review of the Nokia N95 mobile phone.
Advantages: Range of Features, Look and Feel, Durability
Disadvantages: Battery Life
...I have owned many mobile phones over the years, all with unique features and selling points. In my opinion the N95 from Nokia represents a step forward in mobile telecommunication design.
Being young, male, and relatively technilogically savvy, mobile phones must have a certain something to appeal to me, and I'm glad to say that this model has it in spades.
It is over a year since I purchased the model, and I have waited until now to write a review of the phone in order to ensure that I have a thorough understanding of it.
Look and Feel
The phone is a step away from the standard typical Nokia designs and embraces a more modern appearance. The surrounding casing of the screen itself is decked out in glossy black and the main phone console itself is designed in a stylish black plastic. The buttons are tactile and easy to press...

Nokia N97 - 'The new iPhone'
Advantages: 32gb Internal Memory, Nice Looking, Full QWERTY Keyboard, 5 MP Camera
Disadvantages: A Little Bulky, Price, Small Processer Makes The Phone Slow
... Intro
Being the previous owner of a Sony Ericsson w850 for over 2 years, I decided that it was time for a mobile phone upgrade. I had a few different phones in mind, the Apple iPhone, Nokia N97, Nokia 5800 Xpress Music and the HTC Touch Pro, in the end I chose to buy the new Nokia N-Series phone. It was a clear choice over the iPhone because of the price, also you do not have to buy the phone AND pay a monthly contract fee with the N97.
Buying The Phone
After choosing the phone I decided that I wanted to switch to contract instead of pay as you go. At the time the phone was only available on the Vodafone and Orange networks, but I believe that you can get it on most major networks now. I had previously been with Orange and wasn't too impressed with their service, so I chose Vodafone, they also had better deals for the N97...

Review - The Nokia N97 vs The iPhone 3GS
Advantages: Good Looking, Durable, Huge Memory, Very Very Good QWERTY keyboard
Disadvantages: Tiny processor leading to lag and application crashes
...for people with smaller hands, despite this the N97 looks and feels solid and well made.
Unlike the majority of mobile phones which incorporate a QUERTY keyboard into their design, the QUERTY keypad itself is a complete success. Despite the room taken up by a directional pad on the left hand side, the buttons are well spaced, so even those with larger fingers won't end up pressing two or three at the same time.
Performance & Interface
The N97 has a very satisfying 32GB memory, on top of which can supplemented with a microSD card by a further 64GB. Anyone who is familiar with recent Nokia handsets will be aware of the Symbian S60 OS, which in the N97 has been revised for the fifth time, sadly though, not completely successfully. There has been a noticeable improvement since the N95 and N96, but the reoccurrence of lag...

Nokia 6700 Classic Mobile Phone Reviewed
Advantages: It feels solid and robust owing to its slender design and stainless steel construction.
Disadvantages: TFT display of 2.2 inches; 320 x 240 pixels is small for mapping purposes and web browsing
...I received the Nokia 6700 classic (all in black, including keyboard and backplate) as part of an Orange contract upgrade.
The main features of the phone can be found on the Nokia website at http://www.nokia.co.uk/find-products/all-phones/nokia-6700-classic so I'll concentrate on the phone as a user.
Over the years of owning a number of mobiles ranging from Motorola, Samsung, Philips, Sony Ericsson and Nokia I have generally preferred Nokia, mainly beacuse of the simplicity of the S40 user interface, which is very user friendly and simple in approach.
The main points about the Nokia 6700 classic in my opinion are listed below:
Good Points
It feels solid and robust owing to its slender design and stainless steel construction.
The kepad is easy to ease, so too is the navigation button.
The built in GPS receiver and maps are...
