If you have the money and don't mind a bigger phone. I would suggest you buy the Nokia N95! It's available in both Black and Silver (I have the black). ...I recently got the nokia 6300 silver black as an upgrade from o2 at the carphone warehouse. So far there have been no problems, and it is very easy to get used to using. ***memory*** If your phone does not come with a memory card, I would definitely recommend buying one, as the internal memory in the phone is very poor, especially if you intend to use the phone for music and high quality photos. The memory card (microSD) is very easy to insert and remove from the phone, but is locked securely under the back cover, so there is no worry about it falling out. ***radio*** unlike any of the mobile phones that I have previously owned, the nokia 6300 has a radio. ...i recently got this phone as part of a contract, firstly the phone has a nice look to, and a large, bright display which is about twice as big as the keypad, meaning the phone is nicely proportioned i think, the joystick is square with chrome surround meaning navigation through phones folders is very easy on the thumb, allowing easy use, the phone is quick meaning scroll through and track selection is very simple, and simplisity of use is one of the phones strongest selling points while sum manufacturers are making phones smaller and more fildly this phone is compact but simple to use, that is not to suggest that it is not packed with all the features you expect of a new nokia, mp3 player, headphone socket, in package headphones, cd for transering data songs onto phone, but it does not include a USB wire, these are cheap enough though...

...as a owner and user of the nokia n97 i can say i am overall very happy with the improvements that nokia have made on previous models i.e N96 and N95. Lets face it all of us who went from owning an N95 to what nokia seem to believe was a better model (N96) were extremely dissapointed as although looking good on paper the N96 failed to meet the standards of its pre- deccesor but i am glad to say nokia have redeemed themselves on the launch of the N97. There have been many improvements made on previous models i.e the processor is alot faster and the slow transitions between menus has been completely iradicated due to the massive 32Gb memory which can still be increased to a huge 48GB by the handy memory slot tucked away under the rear cover of the phone. Another improvement on previous models is the slider mechanism after a few minor issues...

A huge dissapointment for Nokia's first touchscreen phone

Advantages: Good camera with flash, Sound quality and volume, Nice color scheme

The iphone's competition, Nokia 5800!!

Advantages: Full bluetooth, great sound, wifi, 8 gig storage (expandable) Touch Screen and great screen size.
Disadvantages: Touch screen responsiveness is a bit tedious.

...Please bear in mind that this review is my own personal opinion. I have owned the Apple Iphone 3G 8 gig version and also the Nokia 5800. The nokia 5800 is Nokia's first venture into the touch screen world and they have released it as the dangerous opponent to the Iphone. Both phones are great in their own separate ways, Personally I still think the iphone has got the leading edge. ...I got my nokia 5800 last week, i was excited when it arrived and couldnt wait to start using it. It came neatly packed in the box, with all the user and instruction manuals and all the accesories. Once i worked out where the sim card went (it isnt where it used to be in my old phone!) and turned it on, i loved it straight away. Its my first touch screen phone and i was a bit worried i wouldnt be able to use it and get to grips with it. But after i read the manual and knew where everything was, i found i had no problems.
