A simple guide to a Nokia mobile phone

Advantages: Looks, weight, simple to operate, sound quality
Disadvantages: On Off switch, clunky software

...I have kind of steered clear of Nokia products after my partner?s Nokia phone stopped working one day before the warranty expired & when she contacted them two days later they didn?t want to know. Even the guys at Virgin Mobile tried to persuade them to help but no they weren?t interested. So why am I reviewing a Nokia phone & won?t it be rubbish as revenge to the companies lack of help in the past. Well no, this review is based on a Nokia phone supplied by my ex employer & the review will not be influenced by previous experiences. Nokia N95 Mobile Phone

Advantages: easy to use, long battery life, large screen, excellant connectivity very robust
Disadvantages: software glitches, size and weight.

...I have owned the n95 for over 1.5 years now, when i first received it there was some glitches with software etc but all where fixed quickly and with as little hassle as possible. in a day in age when mobile are getting smaller the nokia n95 may way your pocket down slightly But it is sturdy robust and lots of fun. the games available for the handset are great and the connectivity is fantastic, for a large phone the memory is quite small but can be expanded to 8 gig with a very cheap memory card which comes in handy. Nokias most recent attack on i-phone succes or failure

...as a owner and user of the nokia n97 i can say i am overall very happy with the improvements that nokia have made on previous models i.e N96 and N95. Lets face it all of us who went from owning an N95 to what nokia seem to believe was a better model (N96) were extremely dissapointed as although looking good on paper the N96 failed to meet the standards of its pre- deccesor but i am glad to say nokia have redeemed themselves on the launch of the N97. There have been many improvements made on previous models i.e the processor is alot faster and the slow transitions between menus has been completely iradicated due to the massive 32Gb memory which can still be increased to a huge 48GB by the handy memory slot tucked away under the rear cover of the phone. Another improvement on previous models is the slider mechanism after a few minor issues...

The Nokia N73 - Currently the BEST Mobile Phone

Advantages: The Best Camera in a phone Available, Great Facilities, MiniSD, Huge Screen, Beautiful Design

...comes in three colour combinations, (Mocha/White, Red/White and Plum/Silver). They all look very nice. I have the Plum/Silver, although I would've preferred the Mocha/White, but my Operator doesn't do that. The design is very minimalist; it is simple, but well done. The front of the phone is dominated by the large, bright and beautiful screen, above it, the name of the phone, (Nokia N73), and the earpiece. Then there is also the front-facing camera for video calling, (it can also be used as a 'mirror' or for fun shots, although it isn't brilliant), and next to that there is also a small light, that blinks for Bluetooth, and also is a light sensor, so that if it is bright, it can dim the keypad backlight to conserve power. The rear of the phone at first appears to withhold nothing, just the button to access the battery/USIM compartment...

Cell, Stephen King's latest venture - out now in hard back copy, immediately tells us the central theme of the book by its title and the images on the front cover - cellphones. This is slightly unusual for King to choose such a short, descriptive title, but this is about the only break from King's normal style that we see. The plot of this story is (as outlined on the intro page and the first page proper, so no plot spoilers here!) an apocalyptic one. In less than a month, civilisation as we know it (or more accurately, the americans know it, as there are no global references in this book) is over.
