Nokias most recent attack on i-phone succes or failure
Advantages: memory
Disadvantages: touchscreen
...as a owner and user of the nokia n97 i can say i am overall very happy with the improvements that nokia have made on previous models i.e N96 and N95. Lets face it all of us who went from owning an N95 to what nokia seem to believe was a better model (N96) were extremely dissapointed as although looking good on paper the N96 failed to meet the standards of its pre- deccesor but i am glad to say nokia have redeemed themselves on the launch of the N97. There have been many improvements made on previous models i.e the processor is alot faster and the slow transitions between menus has been completely iradicated due to the massive 32Gb memory which can still be increased to a huge 48GB by the handy memory slot tucked away under the rear cover of the phone. Another improvement on previous models is the slider mechanism after a few minor issues...

Review - The Nokia N97 vs The iPhone 3GS
Advantages: Good Looking, Durable, Huge Memory, Very Very Good QWERTY keyboard
Disadvantages: Tiny processor leading to lag and application crashes
... The Nokia N97
Nokia have announced the follow up to their 5800 XpressMusic touchscreen phone. The Nokia N97, which utilises a 3.5 inch touchscreen and slide out QUERTY keyboard.
Appearance
The overall design of the N97 is not at all unique, looking like the lovechild of a Google G1 and Apple iPhone, comparisons have also been drawn to the AT&T Tilt, and rightly so. Despite Nokia's lack of imagination the N97 is a nice looking thing, apart from a small button in the bottom left corner, the 3.5 inch touchscreen dominates and looks sleek and well designed.
When the QUERTY keyboard is slid out the screen sits at an angle, looking remarkably like the HTC TyTN. The N97 is both larger and thicker than the iPhone, which isn't exactly inconspicuous itself, this makes the N97 feel a little too large, especially...

Nokia N97 - 'The new iPhone'
Advantages: 32gb Internal Memory, Nice Looking, Full QWERTY Keyboard, 5 MP Camera
Disadvantages: A Little Bulky, Price, Small Processer Makes The Phone Slow
... Intro
Being the previous owner of a Sony Ericsson w850 for over 2 years, I decided that it was time for a mobile phone upgrade. I had a few different phones in mind, the Apple iPhone, Nokia N97, Nokia 5800 Xpress Music and the HTC Touch Pro, in the end I chose to buy the new Nokia N-Series phone. It was a clear choice over the iPhone because of the price, also you do not have to buy the phone AND pay a monthly contract fee with the N97.
Buying The Phone
After choosing the phone I decided that I wanted to switch to contract instead of pay as you go. At the time the phone was only available on the Vodafone and Orange networks, but I believe that you can get it on most major networks now. I had previously been with Orange and wasn't too impressed with their service, so I chose Vodafone, they also had better deals for the N97...

Nokia 6230i
Advantages: Small, light, robust
Disadvantages: An olde model, hard to get hold of
...Nokia 6230i Silver Grey
I had one of these as my last phone which I have just replaced with a newer more updated model of Nokia.
Throughout the time I had my 6230i I loved it, it was reliable, durable and I never had a single problem with it for well over a year. I dropped it millions of times and still it never broke apart from the case scratching.
It was easy to use and understand and had lots of features and settings that I found useful and fun which made me definitely want another Nokia after this model
About the 6230i Features
It has lots of different features including
*1.3 mega-pixel camera with 3 x digital zoom, I found this camera brilliant for a phone camera and took many pictures with it, it had a night mode which helped make pictures a better quality in the dark all those these weren't brilliant...

The Excellent NOKIA 6230i
Advantages: Sturdy & Reliable Nokia, Good Camera, Memory Card, Bluetooth, IR, MP3, FM Radio
Disadvantages: None yet
...I chose this phone over the Moto V3 Razr and the Samsung D500, both of which had appealed to me for their features and swish, good looking designs - and it's the best decision I've made in a long time! I got this phone free on my monthly contract, but I believe it can cost in the region of £200 on Pay as You Go.
Let's get one thing straight before we start; this phone is not swish and doesn't look sexy! It isn't the height of Fashion, it doesn't slide or flip and it won't make you tea in the morning, BUT it has solid business functionality and some impressively sexy features.
So having told you what this isn't, let's have a look at what this phone is! This is the 2005 upgrade to the Nokia 6230, but it may as well be a completely new model!
Weighing in at 99g, this Triband Nokia has a sturdy, comfortable feel and fits nicely...

Nokia 6230i
Advantages: Great
Disadvantages: None
...The Nokia 6230i is an awesome mobile phone. It has excellent capabilities and can meet everybody's needs. As I own one of these phones I find that they are excellent and can do pretty much anything that I want it to.
The phone has the standard things such as messaging and other things such as push to talk, push to talk is a like using walkie talkies and can be used anywhere. These are the things that are accessible on the phone and some of its features:
1.3 megapixel camera also shoots video clips
High quality video streaming with sound
32 MB internal memory and support for MMC cards up to 512 MB - use the phone as a digital storage device
Active TFT display and new animated 3D menu graphics
Push to talk over cellular
Easy local and remote synchronization
Flexible connectivity...

Well this phone is good for work and for your all your use. This phone will have most things that you wont and nearly every thing you wont. Well it might not have all the top of the range stuff in the phone but it is a good little phone. I am going to try and include most things about this phone. And hope it will get a good rate. Well here we go??
Well ok lets start when you switch this phone on. It will come up Nokia and then the o hands and then after that it will say 02 welcome. And then just come up to your screen. The Nokia E61i
Advantages: Everything
Disadvantages: None i can think of
...-------------
Nokia E61i
-------------
This review has come in the making because my brother decided that he wanted a new phone and as I am the ?Whizz Kid? so to speak in the family he came running to me. I started off telling him about some of the more basic phones and telling him what they could actually do and then he just wanted more and more until things that he wanted the phone to do just simply weren?t going to happen, like the washing for example. So after doing much tiring research and also my brother looking at some of the new styles of phones in the shop we came to the conclusion that this phone was the one for him. The general phone was called the Nokia E61 and the company wanting more and learning from the feedback decided that they were going to upgrade it and then added the ?i? as they do with most of the upgraded...

Nokia's R D Best ! (Fone Spk!) - 6230i (UPDATED)
Advantages: Light enough to not think you have got a brick in your pocket
Disadvantages: Camera could be better quality, but why upgrades where invented
...I am personally a very big fan of Nokia phones, and since ownership have one have not been tempted to steer away to another mobile manufacturer ... mobile provider .. yes ... mobile manufacturer ... most definitely not !
I have found other manufactuers phones to be difficult to naviagte around and much less user friendly than Nokia, and for those simple reasons, along with the fact I am quite simply well versed with the set up of Nokia's now, I wouldn't intend on swapping.
The 6230i (I think mine is the "i", but then I never ever remember my model number ... I just look for some clued up nanobot to tell / remind me or look for the picture that matches and hey presto). I suppose this latter fact may have some bearing on just how useful this review proves, particularly if you are trying to opt between a 6230 and a 6230i, so...

I Heart My Nokia
Advantages: Stylish, simple to use, lots of features.
Disadvantages: Slow and the keypad is too small!
...I've never really had a Nokia before - certainly not a new one anyway, so when my Orange contract expired last November, I decided to trade in (not literally, unfortunately) my flip lid Motorola for one of the more traditional looking Nokias (albeit a good size smaller than the last old one I had!)
The Nokia 6230i was around £170 in the shop if you bought it as part of a Pay As You Go deal, but on contract it was free! Woo!
My plan is 200 minutes and 1000 free student texts, but that's not really relevant to this review.
I took it home, after much bother (but I'll save that for the Orange review) and pieced it together. A new thing I noticed was that instead of just fitting the sim card and the battery in, you also have a memory card that goes in under the battery. This is for transferring images and recordings from your phone...
