Disadvantages: disappointing sat nav

...I recently purchased the Nokia N95 I have now had it for about two weeks, I haven't had a chance to use all the features, but have used quite a few and had a play around. So thought I would write a review and then update it as I try more and more of the features. The N95 is packed with features and this review could last for days if I explained them all. I'm going to concentrate on the most used and interesting features. Lets start with the look and the screen size: I like Nokias and am a fan and I haven't been disappointed with the look and feel of the N95. My other half has a Nokia N73 and when they are side by side the phones look very similar the difference and in my opinion the benefit of the N95 is the screen size. ...The Nokia n95 was first released on sale in the UK at the beginning of 2007. It was one of the most advanced phones available at this time. It has a lot to offer the owner. First of all, the display is a 240 x 360 TFT display with ambient light detector and up to 16million different colours to take your fancy. The display is quite clear with not a lot of icons to clutter up the space. The signal and battery levels are illustrated in the top corners of the screen split either side of the time and the profile selection, e.g. silent, general, and meeting. It was brought through a contract with o2 after I closed my sim only contract where I payed £25 a month (I think). o2 rang me and asked me if I wanted an upgrade and truthfully I was looking to buy a new phone as I originally had a nokia 6600, which as you may well know is nearly the size of a brick (although the nokia n95 isn't really any smaller). The Phone which Created History... Nokia N 95

Advantages: 5MP camera, software support, quality sound, luxurious look & many more.
Disadvantages: No touch Screen

...in two format i.e. with touch screen & without touch screen. Over all Nokia N 95 is the most popular phone so far in the market till the date iphone 3 LG launched in the market. But I still prefer Nokia N 95 over iphone due to it's 5MP camera....

...It took ages to boot up. By the time it was ready for use it had been at least a 3 minutes. At first i thought "it's broken already?" as it seemed to be stuck on the white nokia logo screen. It did eventually spring into life and a nice welcome screen asking me about tutorials and would i like to watch some video of how to operate then handset. I noticed at this point that the light omitted from the screen was visable through the side of the handset, the screen it self is sandwiched between an upper and lower plate of plastic, the gap between them both was where the light was escaping. This to me looked terrible and further added to my disappointment of the N95, cheap and tacky build quality which for the price of handset is really unacceptable. ...I have to say that when the Nokia N95 was first released, i was eargerly awaiting the little red box to arrive. I have always been into gadgets & technology, mobile phones being a big part of this. and the hype; The N95 boast a massive feature list, almost anything you could ever want in a phone - 5 megapixel camera, which i might add is possibly the greatest feature of the phone, 3G video calling & full internet access on the move. MMS.... the list goes on. Not only does the features list look impressive, but the phone aesthetically is excellent, the screen clear and crisp and the two slide functions definate. - It arrives, and like a child at christmas, i'm straight into the box. ...well my friends this is probably one of nokias best phones when it comes to features...this phone has it all...a very good camera with very high quality lens, bluetooth, infrared, video,etc...etc..i could go onand on about all the features all day but i have to say that he one that got my attention as the music player...who needs an mp3 player when u have this phone...u an save al ur songs because the nokia n95 may have problems but lack o memory is not one of the plus pretty much all networks are selling it with a memory card that is always usefull if u take pictures of every thing that happens around you like me...ur now probably thinking ok so if the phone is so good why havent u given the highest rating...two things...how big the phone is...although i have to admite that is far better than the old n80 but i guess when ur phone has...

...Having always been a Nokia fan, when the time came to upgrade by phone from the 'very functional once you upgraded the firmware' N73, I had little hesitation in going for the N95, despite staff at O2 advising me the K850i was a 'vastly superior phone'. The handset was free and the contact very rosy so I waited eagerly for it's arrival. It was easy to se up, the phone worked well straight out of the box. Being a bit of a geek my first port of call was gadgets, the mp3 player, video player, camera etc. The screen proved to be large and well designed. The onboard real player function makes an excellent video player. The 5Mps camera is as you'd expect excellent and the auto focus is a godsend to someone an inept at photography as myself. ...this mobile over the next 2 years. I did expect a couple of sticky episodes regarding the workability of the mobile.. I have had no sticky patches as yet, as stated in a few Nokia N95 forums and blogs. I guess the nervousness is partly because it is all new and that... One thing for sure it does not wash itself. I still need to wipe the finger prints off the 3 inch screen on a daily occurrence. I guess thats me really with new shiny gadgets; after about 4 weeks I expect the wiping novelty will go....
