...It took ages to boot up. By the time it was ready for use it had been at least a 3 minutes. At first i thought "it's broken already?" as it seemed to be stuck on the white nokia logo screen. It did eventually spring into life and a nice welcome screen asking me about tutorials and would i like to watch some video of how to operate then handset. I noticed at this point that the light omitted from the screen was visable through the side of the handset, the screen it self is sandwiched between an upper and lower plate of plastic, the gap between them both was where the light was escaping. This to me looked terrible and further added to my disappointment of the N95, cheap and tacky build quality which for the price of handset is really unacceptable. ...I recently purchased the Nokia N95 I have now had it for about two weeks, I haven't had a chance to use all the features, but have used quite a few and had a play around. So thought I would write a review and then update it as I try more and more of the features. The N95 is packed with features and this review could last for days if I explained them all. I'm going to concentrate on the most used and interesting features. Lets start with the look and the screen size: I like Nokias and am a fan and I haven't been disappointed with the look and feel of the N95. My other half has a Nokia N73 and when they are side by side the phones look very similar the difference and in my opinion the benefit of the N95 is the screen size. ...The Nokia n95 was first released on sale in the UK at the beginning of 2007. It was one of the most advanced phones available at this time. It has a lot to offer the owner. My Experiences with the Nokia N95

Advantages: Camera, Sound and video quality.
Disadvantages: Battery life

...I have owned the Nokia N95 smartphone for several months now, and would definitely recommend it to a friend. It is a feature-rich, easy to use phone that has served me well so far. Out of the box, it is very easy to setup, and the included software to install on your pc allows you to backup all your phones data and contacts to your computer, just in case the phone should fail. Fortunately, this backup has never been needed, as this phone has proved itself to be near indestructible. I have dropped it several times to no effect, and the screen is very scratch resistant. The phone is also a very capable media player. Although its onboard memory is small, it can be expanded by a micro SD card into the top of the phone. Sound quality and video quality are excellent, and sliding the phone downwards reveals a set of dedicated keys...

Then on Tuesday morning i received mine. I ripped of the packaging and there it was. A brand new, the eagerly awaited Nokia N95. Opening the box, the phone sits in a plastic case (nice touch) in all it's glory. Out with the phone, in with the battery and sim card and plugged it in with the neat little Nokia charger. Flicking briefly thru the many manuals you receive with the phone, you can just tell this phone is going to give you hours upon hours of fun and enjoyment, as well as phone calls of course. ...Ive had a Nokia N95 for about 4 months now and there are Advantages and Disadvantage.... ...onto the Satellites. Navigating by foot is catered for too! Something that other CPS devices omit. Battery life is appreciably shorter than other phones I have owned but with normal use is acceptable. I would not be without this phone and would recommend it if it is still available. There is a new edition of this phone, N95-8Gb if you can no no longer get the N95....

...I have to say that when the Nokia N95 was first released, i was eargerly awaiting the little red box to arrive.
