...The Nokia 6280 in my opinion is a brilliant mobile phone. In fact i have had the best experience with the Nokia brand of communications device. It takes excellent pictures, the memory is more than adequate. The sound quality is excellent also! Its is durable and easy to use. The battery life is excellent and once charged it lasts for ages even when being used. The only disadvantage of this phone in my opinion is that its rather big & ugly looking. My nieces play with this phone a lot and it has been dropped on numerous occasions and its still in great condition, no chips, scratches so therefore its quite robust. ...i have definatly gone back to nokia phones from samsungs, o2 brand ones etc, as i find that nokia phones are the best. i purchased thenokia 6280as it has a good size screen, 2 mega pixal camara that takes good quality pictures and videos. the keypad is great as it is hidden under neath the screen with a push up mode to show the keypad. i have just figured out how to work the radio and that is good quality listening when it picks up the stations. the bluetooth is great as you can just get songs, ringtones, sounds etc from someone else phone for free. the added memory card is a fantastic piece of kit as you can take as many pohotos as you want and store them on the memory card and you can also transfer them to a computer. you can buy memory cards that are bigger too. the phone is a stylish nokia and it is a little bulky ut to me it is...

Nokia 6280 good but not the ultimate gadget

Advantages: Loads of features, stylish looks, large screen for video
Disadvantages: Not very robust, some software bugs

...of the organiser functions, they look similar to those on other Nokias. Similarly I haven't spent a lot of time playing the games although Snake III has impressive graphics and is very addictive! I was disappointed to find that the phone uses the S40 operating system - this is impressive for a phone with all these functions but means there are a lot less downloadable applications (unlike with S60 and S80). There are a lot of features I haven't really used such as the ability to make video calls using the second camera or some of the other multi-media tricks it has up its sleeve. This is due in part to the fact I can't see how to get them to work and also the high cost charged by the network. Connectivity is another strong point even though it has both bluetooth and infrared Nokia supply a data cable which is ideal for transfering large files...

Cases for this phone are not brilliant either, we tried a lot of them, but in the end, ended up with a rubber case only going around the back and sides, holds it quiet well, they use to sell them on eBay (under Silicone Skin Case 6280) Plus a screen guard to protect the screen. The Voice Recognition isn't very good, because your can't train it yourself. it uses its own software, and its not good with unusal words like my name, or easier ones too for that matter... hates wife (but hubby like that idea hehe).
