Music while I work (out) with the Nokia BH-604 Headset

Advantages: good battery life, same charger as many nokia phone models, good sound

...I had been looking for a pair of wireless stereo headphones for a while so I could use them with my mobile phone at the gym, and round the office. Not being tethered to something with a wire is obviously quite important for at the gym! Over the ear Bluetooth stereo headsets seem to be quite hard to find, so when this was on Amazon at a reasonable price, I leapt at the chance. I use this headset with my Nokia mobile phone which is the source of the music... Of course, you don't have to have a Nokia phone, just one that supports Bluetooth wireless headsets! The item arrived with a Nokia standard charger (the new size with the tiny connector), a protective cloth bag for the headphones, the headphones (obviously) and a printed manual. Nokia HS-4W Bluetooth Headset

...The best thing I found with the headset was how easy it was to connect to my phone (nokia 6230). The clarity whilst having conversations is great and the the way it fits onto my ear was confortable. If you have any problems using it, the manual provided has the answers. The biggest disadvantage of the headset is that other people can hear your conversation. The reason for this is that the headset can be used on your left or right ear, and has a speaker on each side. This is not so bad if you turn the volume setting to low. The headset can be charged using most nokia chargers and doesn't take too long to charge. The headset can also be used with more than one phone. I believe it was a good buy. I bought the headset to use whilst driving, and it does exactly what I expected. I can keep the phone in my pocket and answer any call...

Advantages: A compelling tale told with warmth and humour by those who lived it

...The BBC`s rather bold policy of showing five series of The Wire back-to-back during the spring and summer evenings is very welcome as it annoying, and certainly all rather frantic if you want to keep up, video tapes piling up by our TVs as the excellent American cop series goes out at that post Newsnight, BBC2, 11:15pm weekday slot. It's a complete mystery why they didn't put it on the 9 pm weekday slot to build its popularity and so drag it out for two years it's that good and intelligent viewing for that anti-ITV prime-time slot. Series one reflected the Black American drug culture of the City of Baltimore, through the eyes of the police, the legislature, the local politicians and the black criminal underclass themselves, their methods not that different from the good guys in getting the job done, whoever the good guys are...

Nokias most recent attack on i-phone succes or failure

...as a owner and user of the nokia n97 i can say i am overall very happy with the improvements that nokia have made on previous models i.e N96 and N95. Lets face it all of us who went from owning an N95 to what nokia seem to believe was a better model (N96) were extremely dissapointed as although looking good on paper the N96 failed to meet the standards of its pre- deccesor but i am glad to say nokia have redeemed themselves on the launch of the N97. There have been many improvements made on previous models i.e the processor is alot faster and the slow transitions between menus has been completely iradicated due to the massive 32Gb memory which can still be increased to a huge 48GB by the handy memory slot tucked away under the rear cover of the phone. Another improvement on previous models is the slider mechanism after a few minor issues...

...This headset is a bit expensive for its quality. Although i bought mine outside the country for a considerable lesser price, had i known better, i would have bought a wireless one. It is still functional after two years. I lost both of the voice tube microphone cover though and i think that is whats causing too much echo when i talk and too much mic sensitivity. That also causes alot of feed back so i have to press on mute all the time, and everytime i am done speaking, to avoid the feedbacks. On the upside it supports all Plantronics amplifiers and USB-to-headset adapters so i guess i just have to get one. It is also comfortable to wear for long hours. I would not recommend to get leatherette ear cushions, that made my ears sweat and itchy eeks....
